Portkey gives users the option of listing their contact details and making their e-mail addresses visible to the public. Should users wish not to do this, they may choose not to list their contact details and may hide their e-mail address.

Quoting / Discussing / Reproducing the opinions of Portkey users

The opinions expressed by users of Portkey within the Portkey network

(ie, Portkey's forums including public and private messages; fanfiction reviews; fanart remarks and reviews; and Portkey's IRC chat)

may not be quoted / reproduced / discussed on any external websites without explicit permission from the author of the material. "External websites" are sites that are not part of the Portkey network. The only exception to this rule is if the comments are used by a neutral party (such as a professional news reporter) who does not attempt to discredit or argue points presented by the opinion.

We also discourage Portkey members from quoting / reproducing / discussing opinions posted on another website unless they have received permission from the other website to do so.

The only time our users are allowed to quote / reproduce / discuss opinions posted in another website, WITHOUT seeking permission, is when those opinions are deemed completely open to the public. Such examples consist of news articles and interviews.

In cases where Portkey users are allowed to quote / reproduce / discuss comments from another website, they should name the other website as their source. Portkey hereby requests them to disclose the direct URLs to the opinions they have cited.
