Heh, I think I lost exactly five posts. I'm so relieved that I was not in a posting mood yesterday. Phew.

I think the post counts got changed too, since we're actually using backup files that slightly lag in saving tallies and other data. I lost some threads and PMs, but got back some that I've deleted before the downtime. Many Mod actions (like merging, deleting and editing) were undone.

At least we lost only a day's worth of posts. That's very much recoverable. What's important is that much of our data was saved.

And in case you're wondering, Nitya, one of the PMs that I lost was my reply to Christine's question: So, what do you think about [co-]writing?

Kalie, I meant to ask if you had the Attach New Poll option too. It's a bar graph icon beside the paw print on top of this thread. Nielle and phoenix said they didn't have it yet. Nappa must've forgotten to enable it in their Mod Tools. More details about polls in the Mod Manual.

Nope, I don't have it either. I think you might have asked me that before as well. But, I'm not sure about it.

Now I'm going to go off and celebrate.

*grabs one of the Harry and Hermione shaped confetti and squees* Thanks you two. I celebrated last night by going to the local ice cream parlor and finding out that they're out of their pumpkin pie sundaes! But overall yesterday was a good day.
