42. Because our priority is to make Portkey fun. Whatever it is that lures you to the fandom, you'd likely find it here. Fanfics, fanart, essays, poetry, etc. If there's something you like that isn't here yet, then you're quite welcome to suggest it! As long as it's fun and civil, PK people will figure out a way to bring it here.

43. Because we get to befriend people from various countries and cultures.

44. Because we actively promote multi-lingual communities. We don't just wait for people to get together.

45. Because our techies don't tire of tweaking the board software to add additional fields and options. Other sites use the same software, but don't have fields like RL name, my stories, and 5 latest posts. Nor do other sites bother to introduce options like these.

51. Because it gives you something to do at work/school other than play Freecell for the 10,000th time.

53. Because it has inspired so many lovely projects that people work hard on and get to know each other really well while doing so.

It's nice and ok and all, but I love to do this so I'll do it anyway. I noticed that it is almost always the same people adding to the list. Not that that's not good; the complete opposite! It shows we have a lot of preserverance for a thing (Yea right! ), but we need other minds (there's many great ones at PK) to give their own idea. So this is the thing:
