I just had a great idea, how many people would want to have a portkey H/H T-shirt. If you want one would you wear one. This is the thread to let me know

I'd wear one. Esp if we could make them in different sizes and such! We should work on a design or something

Well There is a place called - Cafe Press (http://www.cafeshops.com/PortkeyStore) - I'm trying to use that. They are good. However... Now that great at art stuff... so if people have good ideas and as such - we could get ideas and work from there.

The only thing we have so far is a mug I might upload designs here. If you are interested in designing - make them 200-300DPI minimum and 200*200 minimum - Link in here, we can sort through things in here We'll make it a community project

So far, it has www.portkey.org on the front in an arc, and on the back it has

James/Lily
Draco/Ginny

what we need is a great drawing of the 6 of them, in that order preferably, as to not be confused about who is who.... if anyone is interested, please post here and let us know!!!!

I pretty much only ship H/Hr. I don't mind L/J, D/G... but I'd prefer a pure H/Hr shirt.

I like that idea. I can see it now:

A T-Shirt with the Portkey logo and some witty phrase (must ponder the possibilties) And it comes in 3 colors for your ship preferance. And I dont own that much Orange in my wardrobe, so new things are always wecome...

Two more cents-

I am still anti-a lavender shirt for D/G guys , I say black if you ship D/G, , orange if you ship H/Hr, and ummm I have no idea what the L/J shippers would prefer. And if you don't have a particular ship, support all three equally, don't care, or just love portkey, you can have a white shirt!

Hm can there be a Subtle Shipper shirt?

I'm a teenage 18yr old guy. Closet HP fan and if plp find out I "ship" H/Hr it would be the end of me. How am I supposed to see my mates with a HP "Harry/Hermione" shirt?
THats why my first suggestions was a nice shirt with HHr (or your ship) and the words Portkey in some nice pattern.
I don't mind white shirt. But nothing too tacky, something subtle, fashionable yet distinct to those who know fandom.

Just a suggestion for the Subtle Shirt. So: No use of proper names. No direct reference to Harry Potter. Something fashionable and subtle for everyday wear.

I agree Max. I would buy a shirt that is bold and gives total reference to the Harry Potter world to wear on the weekends or something, but it would be nice to have a subtle shipper shirt so that we can show our shiperness without everyone asking "You like Harry Potter?" blah blah blah.

I'm one of those who would wear a huge H/Hr on my shirt, I did that for Philip and Chloe when I was a fan of that couple on Days of our Lives....

I would love to have a Harry/Hermione shirt. I support the subtle tee-shirt idea though. I'm a closet HP fan, and would not be able to wear the thing otherwise.

Well we would make several designs. I want to make a multi ship one along with separate ships and just a portkey subtle one.


Has anyone ever made tshirts before? I haven't, so any advice anyone has, please come forward, esp on the coloured tshirts issue...

H/H would be orange
and D/G would be like either red or black
subtle ship shirt would be like white or black.

Well I think Ryoko and I are going to wind up making a bunch of styles, since Kristin has generously given us permission to use her PoU related drawings. It's just mainly coming up with one for Draco and Ginny now, we'll probably use the picture Nappa has on the MB page....


Coloured tshirts are cool, we'd just have to come up with transparent backgrounded designs, because we may not be able to match the EXACT colour of the tshirt, you know?

As for the D/G shirt-if its the design I think you're talking about-then it's Starlette's work. I think its the one that's my Avatar-I had to ask her to use it, so just make sure you tlak to her

okay guys, important question about the standard portkey shirts:

What exactly is everyone looking for with the standard shirt? Cause I made one, with just www.portkey.org in an arc, but it's very bland....


What do and don't you want to see on it? I realise some people are closet/subtle shippers and can't wear an H/Hr, L/J or D/G shirt, so I don't want to make the standard one too flashy.

Leave messages here so Ryoko and I know what to start designing.

Haha... Max... I'm in the same boat as you! Me, an 18 year old guy... a self-proclaimed metalhead for that matter, closet HP fan... wearing a shirt that is directly linked to Harry Potter would be the end of me. I love the idea though of a subtle shipper shirt though. I'd wear that. I'd prefer black (metalhead) but do white once in a while when i'm at home. Although I'd probably buy a regular shirt even so... great idea in general.

Okay - there is going to be two seperate efforts at creating the TShirts:
One is going to be by me - the other is a team effort from Heaven and Ryoko. Two seperate efforts - because together they can do Black t-shirts. Me - I can only do white - but I'll be concentrating on other things.

Things not like clothes. Thongs, boxers..... NOT in that way. I mean as getting them with Portkey written all over them. There are lunch boxes, mugs, bags, teddy bears.... All things will have a $1 markup on them. So that money goes to run the site.

Here is what I have so far...... I'll do a version of the slogans & Ryoko and Hean can do others. People can pick and choose what they like better.

Nappa: I personally like the Orange "Harry/Hermione" logo. Only because I now forever associate the color orange with that ship. (Woo Hoo for Pumpkin Pie!). I like that slogan to... the "hero" being with the "heroine"... its a fine tuned form of Ds' idea. All in all, thats the one I like!

I like the logo that said Harry/Hermoine nuff said. I think that is a really good also the one that says the others are really good too.Can't wait until they come out I also like the orange color idea.

He DOES rock! hee hee...I'm an idiot...I also like the Darkstar inspired quote about the Hero...that's just plain cute...and I also like the 'nuff said one....Gee, I guess I'm not much help, am I? For those leery of declaring their HP obsession publicly, how 'bout the slogan: Got Pie? Picture that in big orange letters. Then, in tiny letters underneath, you could just have: H/Hr. We'll know what it means, but the plebes won't necessarily have to.

Also, what about the "Nappa is a perv" mugs? I want one! And all this is starting to give me ideas for Fanboy Harem merchandise . . .
