IF they wouldn't end up together, because or WHAT reason, who would YOU want them to end up with other than h/hr?

For me, I DON'T want a Harry/Ginny relationship.. I could never live with it. if Hary had to end up with someone else, I'd rather have Harry/Luna or Harry/Cho

And Hermione,.. no Ron/Hermione plz,.. or Draco/Hermione, I'd rather see Hermione/Viktor

Hermione is a difficult one... I don't really think she fits with anyone, besides Harry...

oooh...it really hard not think of H/hr not being lover at end..but this is BIG IF it doesn't happen. then I would like Harry/Cho.(don't kill me)be together..but I thought that from reading book PoA, they were cute and have alot common their relationship is real girlfriend/boyfriend would do . Okay, I absolutely abhor R/Hr and H/G (Sorry if I offend any visiting shippers ) - It would be very hard for me to stomach them in canon.

If I had to pick a girl for Harry it would probably be Katie Bell. We really don't know that much about Katie, so it could happen.

As for Hermione, maybe Neville? Or some boy from Ravenclaw...? I don't know, not Krum though. To be honest he sort of freaks me out. lol

I despise Vicky, i really do, hes high up there on my least fav characters list, tied with a certain tyrannical high inquistor for first. But as much as i despise him, he would treat our Mione with the respect she deserves, i gotta give him that. So i guess ill say that when it comes to Hermione.
As for Harry, h/g doesnt bother me that much, but i guess id prefer Luna.

I want Harry to be with Hedwig if Hermione doesn't work out. That is only if she's an Animagi...I kid. But if Harry can't be with her, I don't know, not a lot of women would be able to live up to Hermione. I don't think any really could in Harry's eyes. Now Hermione, I actually think Neville. He's got a loving heart and kind of reminds me of a much less courageous and more bumbling Harry. He would treat her the way she deserves to be treated.

I would want Harry to be with Ginny if he doesn't end up with Hermione. I like Ginny; she's up there on my favorite character list - they aren't that bad of a ship. Erm, don't kill me, Harry and Hermione forever!

Hermione is more tough, though. . .hmmm . . . DEFINITLY NOT RON. I would hate hate hate it if R/Hr got together. I'm sorry, for any of you R/Hr shippers, but I cannot stand that ship. . . urgh. Maybe . . . no . . . the only person I can think of that's right for Hermione is Harry.

Hmmm...if I absolutely had to choose anyone in canon for Harry it would be nobody. Quite honestly, I can't see him with anyone other than Hermione. I'm sure that's how most of us feel. Although, Harry/Luna isn't too bad. Even though I can't see it happening.

As for Hermione, I like Neville. I've developed a soft spot for Neville after OotP. I've seen a few things here and there that may suggest this. He certainly treats her better than Ron.

Hmm, good question. I would say it is very hard to find other person for them, cuz they are just too perfect for each other. I would say the H/Lu ship is the one that most convinces me now. I don't mind H/G that much but H/Lu seems better. For Hermione I can't really think of anyone... Viktor doesn't seem suited for her, I think they were only together because Hermione felt that he was the only guy that would care about her. So I think Hr/Nev seems decent enough....

If they didn't get together, I'd have to go with H/Lu and Neville/Hr. Shrug...but we know that this won't happen of course!

No one is giving Neville enough credit. I think if we all give him the chance and give him the time he could be a really great wizard. I'm not saying that I want Hermione and Neville together, but if Harry didn't exist, then who else would be worth her time? As Neville keeps on growing, he's showing more and more of his worth to everyone.

I would vote for Ron/Hermione and Harry/Cho, since those are my other favorite ships. But if I can't pick those two...hmmm.

I agree with everyone who said Neville/Hermione. Neville was such a sweet guy in OotP and I saw a couple of shippy N/Hr moments in the Ministry. I think they would be awfully cute together.

As for Harry...ooo, that's a tough one. Probably Luna, although I'm inclined to go with the flow and say Tonks.

In answer to your question, I would have to agree with H/Lu & N/Hr. Neville is going to become something remarkable and pivotal in the remaining books. This has been hinted at since book one. Do not forget, he was there when they met Fluffy. That said, I've always believed that Neville was a hint for H/Hr. In the sense that Neville recognises all the qualities Hermione has that Harry takes for granted. Based on these qualities Neville asked her to the Yule Ball. Only then did he ask Ginny. Hermione does the same things for Neville that she does for Harry, just on a smaller scale. I see N/Hr as mirroring H/Hr. But I have said this numerous times already.

Harry/Tonks? Isn't she at least twenty? She's gotta be at least 4 years older than he is. This is ok when one is 24 and the other is 28, but when one of them is still a teenager .... oh boy. People were squicked by the Hermione/Krum age difference.

For Harry, Luna would be best. She might be a little Loony but she can sympathise and understand Harry on a more deeper level. I reckon Cho wouldn't be bad either still even if she was a human hosepipe in book 5 she had her reasons.

For Hermione, can't really see anyone for her except Harry. Krum cares for her and treats her well but hes too old. Neville, I dunno how that would work out, I can't see Hermione with Neville for some reason but an advantage with Neville is that he actually realises Hermione is a girl and likes her for who she is, not what she looks like . I guess Ron would be the favourite here but his attitude needs to change majorly if he goes Hermione i.e. treats her well and respects her.

I despise the Harry/Ginny relationship as well. As much as I'm sure Ron would absolutly love it, there are a few reasons why it wouldn't work out:
1. Ginny has moved on, anyway.
2. Harry never has liked Ginny!

Harry/Cho would not work. Okay, so maybe she's kinda nice and all, but it just wouldn't work. I think she lets things like her dumb friends get in the way (remember Marianna--or w/e her name was--)
Harry/Luna is the only way I think it could go. *shudders* I saw things in HP #5 that gave clues that Harry might somewhat, perhaps, maybe like Hermione, and that Hermione like Harry.

Now, JK does explain to us why Hermione can figure that Harry isn't a bad kisser, but the fact that she piped up on the subject can't be dismissed.
As for a match for Hermione, I don't have a clue who else would be out there for her. Not Ron. Anyone but Ron. They fight way too much. If I had to chose, I agree with everyone that says Hermione/Neville. He was a hell of a lot braver in book #5, and is actually starting to pull through. He's sweet and nice and all, and if she can't have someone as perfect for her as Harry, Neville is the next best thing.
Harry/Tonks doesn't seem that bad...except, how old is she, anyway?

I don't want Harry/Luna, they are just way to different for each other. The only thing they really have in common is death. And that's too morbid. They are better off as friends.

Yeah, Harry's life is already morbid enough as is (Poor Sirius...) Luna would just make it a little bit moreso.

And we wouldn't want that. We want someone caring, considerate, knows Harry best, and has been there in the beginning, loyal, brave, intelligent, etc.

Fortunately neither Ginny or Luna fit in all those requirements.

He has so much decisions these days. It might cause him to be really stressful. But Hermione will take care of that in her own special ways.

Well, if he's having the living daylights snogged out of him, he won't be thinking very much, so thats kinda peaceful. The only thing he may be thinking is:
Sleep or snog Hermione?

Repeat as needed. Then:
Bugger it. Snog Hermione.
Finally ending in:
Need to sleep. Have been snogging Hermione. Need to start again tomorrow.

I can think of worse dilemmas to be in.

H/G bothers me...it just doesn't work. It's like getting together with a person you barely even acknowledge. Harry simply doesn't CARE about Ginny other than the general 'sister of your best friend' deal.

Thats the same way I feel about H/G. It is like me going out with my friend's brother, one who I just know his name.

Ummmm.....I'd say Hr/Neville. Don't know why, except that was the only other guy apart from Harry that I could deal with....sort of.

Of course, H/Hr is ALWAYS my number 1 ship, and I don't WANT Hr/Neville to happen, and if it does, I will still do what I'd do if any other ship came out on-top: Bury myself in fics, and get myself so confused, I'll think H/Hr happenend! Hehe!

Facade's right...Harry going out with Ginny is like a blind date. Ok, maybe not that unknown, but Harry doesn't really care about Ginny...he still thinks she's a little person and can't really help him---remember his reaction to her trying to come along in OotP. This ship is making like the Titanic in my opinion.

If not H/Hr, then I would want it to be Harry/Luna, and Hermione/Draco. I don't know why I chose Draco for Hermione. Probably because I like "forbidden" love.
