I'm a newbie as well. I'm AddisonJ and I discovered fan fiction only a few months ago. I've been hanging out in another fandom where my fave author writes both for that fandom and HP. That was my transition into HP fandom (she tends to write Hr/Cedric lives or HP/Cedric lives). After exhausting the Hr/Cedric ship, I realized that I had always thought that H/Hr was the place to be (it's so obvious it's meant to be!) and found this awesome site.

I've been reading fics here for about a month now and Penshoppe (gal-texter) over in LJ harryhermoine land moved mountains on a weekend to enable my registration here, for which I am eternally grateful.

I'm so psyched I can actually participate in forums now! In my RL, no one really knows I'm into ff, and I've made some fic friends in my other fandom, but I'm really getting more into HP and would love to chat over here too.

Hi Addison! awesome site is correct. I've discovered PK a few years ago when I'm still a budding HP fan. Then I lurked for some time before finally having the courage to participate in the forums.
