Hi everyone!

I used to visit portkey a lot and participate a little in the disucussions in the forums - but that was a while ago. And like so many others I lost faith after Deathly Hallows (and the epilogue from hell) and stopped coming to portkey, and stopped thinking about shipping at all.

So what made me come back? - Strangely enough I have to say it must have been the Half-Blood Prince movie. Even though it was filled with tons of R/Hr moments ( ), in my opinion there were even more H/Hr.
I mean, who do they think they're kidding? OBVIOUSLY we have Dan and Emma on our side
So, I went straight home and re-read both HBP and DH and realised - we're still alive! Guys! Seriously! There's a reason why JK said - "It could have gone the other way." (or whatever she said, now for some reason I can't find the interview again ) Harry and Hermione forever. I have newfound faith.

it's great to hear that you got your faith in Harmony back. There aren't many ships which still have so many supporters even though they didn't happen in canon. I think that shows how special Harmony really is.

And I think it isn't strange at all that it was the movie that made you ship Harry and Hermione again. Like you, I think there was a of Harry/Hermione in it. The movie showed very well what I love in this ship: That Harry and Hermione are always there for each other, no matter if the other needs a good advice, practical help or a shoulder to cry on. That's why I loved the movie despite all the Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny action. In my opinion, these two ships were totally unbelieveable and very sudden in the movie, especially Harry/Ginny. If I hadn't read the books I would have thought: What? Doesn't Harry have a crush on that Cho girl? What happened to that? The way they portray it in the movie Ginny seemed to be one of many girls Harry had a superficial crush on.

Exactly in the beginning of HBP movie, when Harry comes to the Burrow and sees Ginny in the window and that sentimental music started playing (*takes out violin and starts playing*), I was like "WHAT? Where did that come from?"
- And I've read all the books. If I hadn't I would probably be even more confused.

Anyway, I think we're off topic
