Hello to all fellow Harmonians!

My name is Daniel and I am a 34 years old guy from Germany. I am really happy to have found this site and that there are many more people who are obsessed with the idea of Harry and Hermione coming together! To say the truth, for me it's a rather new obsession. I was reading the books and listening to the audiobooks of HP (and watching the movies) for years now, but recently during listening to the audiobook to DH, something made "click" and I suddenly understood the possibility and the dimension of H/Hr!

I'm always happy to hear that there are some people who start shipping Harry and Hermione even after knowing that canon doesn't end with them being together.

I love reading about relationships that started as friendships as well and Harry and Hermione are my favourite "friends with potential for more" couple. They have always had a level of understanding with each other that neither of them had with any other character.

Well, "canon" for me are first and foremost the descriptions of the personalities of Harry and Hermione as they are written in the books. JKR did really a ingenius job in doing that. But IMHO JKR was simply not able to really comprehend the characters she has created. Otherwise, it would have been clear to her from the beginning (as it was to many of us), that both would inevitably become the most precious for each other and that they would in the end find to each other as a romantic pairing also.

Me too! ...and I hope I get my chance one day to live such a relationship myself No more H/G-like (pure physical (H->G) and delusional (G->H)) for me, never again!

That is for me the most profound part on it

Yeah, I can imagine it was really exciting as an Harmonian back then, when the books weren't all published yet and all the rumor and shipping wars were going on...I really regret that I wasn't already on our ship back then
But hey, we have so much H/Hr-fanfiction now, portkey is still here with 24,365 members, so the legacy lives on! ...and for me, H/Hr is fairly fresh and my heart is in this very moment burning bright with it! KEEP THE FIRE BURNING
