I’ve been visiting Portkey for some time now, but just recently became a member. Like many of you probably, I’ve grown up reading the Harry Potter books, and I support H/Hr of course, which is why I’m here. My main reason for coming back time after time is the fanfiction, this site seems to have some of the best out there, and now that I’ve registered, the forums are nice too.

I, like you, was primarily attracted to PK's fan fic side, but the forums are a brilliant way to discuss things that just can't fit in those small bursts of discussion in the review/reply system. The rec machine is a great way to find quality fics, and if you like to write, you could start writing ficlets over in the fan fiction section of the forums. If you don't like to write but love to suggest/give away ideas, post in our challenge forums-- I myself pop over there from time to time when I lack inspiration. Can't wait to see what you bring to the table, and if you ever have issues, our mods will be more than willing to help!

You are right! This site have some of the best HP fanfiction. Vanilla parchment is right; check out the rec engine. They have the best of all fanfiction. You might also want to visit the Gallery for the fanarts. They're to die for! Our PK artists are so talented!
