'Ello. Decided to be a bit different and join a Harmony forum. I've not been a fan of HP for long (it's been a few months since I first read the books) but I'm still into fanfiction. I got into fanfication (including writing some) years ago with Rurouni Kenshin and decided to get into it a bit here. I've written a bit recently (not much; three plot outlines, a reimagined family tree, and an prologue). I'm less of a Harry/Hermione shipper and more of an anti-OBHWF'er. As part of that I really dislike Ron most of the time and Ginny gets on my nerves. The main reason I became interested in Harmony was two-fold. One is JKR massacred the series after Book 5 and obviously lacks knowledge in relationship dynamics. In short, Ron is an attention ###### and Hermione just doesn't care!
Another part is using the Meyer-Briggs Typology Indicator (or more specifically, sixteen personality types) which convinced me that the absolute best coupling in the entire series IS Harry/Hermione. I won't reveal the essay I wrote about it a few days ago (as I can't post it myself--help?) but I can say that, according to my analysis at least, Harry & Hermione's relationship is Duality. Hermione appears to be an ENTP and Harry an ISFP. Ron and Hermione, however, would have a relationship of Supervision. As I said, Ron is an attention ###### and Hermione just doesn't care. She keeps thinking she can "cure" him or help him, but he'll refuse that help and feels threatened by her.
