Anyway, about me:

I'm a die-hard supporter of Harmony, and a fan of Luna Lovegood. I also happen to love Crookshanks (he a very intelligent cat) and Honeydukes (can't get enough of those chocolate frogs!).

Hmm ... what do I think about Harry? Well, even though the Harry in cannon is blind (both literally and figuratively), I still happen to love him to death (and stop worrying Hermione, I won't take him away).

Like Hermione, I LOVE books , but like Harry, I love sports . Too bad there isn't a character in Harry Potter that has an addiction to cars ... I'd kill for a BMW convertible. I'm not filthy rich (unlike Harry. Maybe if ask nicely, he'll end up giving me one for Christmas ...).

Err.... While you're here, do you think you could give me tips? Like, how do you post a comment in a forum? Do you need to subscribe? How do you edit your signature (goodness ... I really have no idea what to do) and ect.

Erm ... Could someone also give me tips on how to actually get that author's license? I've already applied twice, and I still haven't passed. They keep saying that I have to submit at least one story with enough plot and character development

What does that mean?

Let me introduce myself. I am, Newyn, which means no one. I have another name, Oldwyn, a newer one. I've been around, but not as long as some of the genuine oldbies here. Don't tell them, but I think they've been around forever, like nothing can shake them loose from this site. Merlin knows I've been trying. Maybe, you'll be the one to do it. Like you my life is a book, except that it's a closed book. That's all you need to know about me, for now.

About posting a comment, you did it one time already. Just keep doing the same thing. Keep clicking on those buttons or boxy-thingies at the bottom of every post. If you're not sure which, don't worry; neither am I. And I'm a mod at that. When I want to post, I click away with abandon and sooner or later, I hit upon something that looks like it might work.

You don't need to subscribe. But you could donate a ton of galleons if you like. Just kidding, really. Don't give anyone your credit card number, ok? In order to post, you have to have a user name. Hang on! You have a user name already. Whew! I almost missed that. I thought MyLifeIsABook was a subtitle or something.

The thing about posting a story is that you gotta have a story first. For you to have a story, you gotta know what is plot and character and other elements that make up a story. If you don't know what those are, then you could look them up.

There's a subforum here that could help you hone your writing skills. There are also plenty of sites in the internet you could learn from. Let me give you some links later...much much later, as in a few weeks. I have to brush up first on my linking skills. Somebody help me here.

Or you could do it the hard way, that is, you have to read a few stories. Well more than a few really. More like a few thousand. Anyway, you need to have read enough good fiction over a long enough period of time before you begin to think you know what makes them tick. When you get to that point I bet that you will be able to come back here and say you have a pretty good idea for a story with a great plot and nice characters.

Why don't you do that? Read a lot of stories for now. Then come back here in the future when you think you have an idea for a plot, characters, setting, action and everything else. If I am still around then, I promise you I will give your story a look to see if it can be posted here, ok?

Meantime, does any of your parents or guardians know that you are accessing this site on the internet? There may be stuff here that you may not be old enough to see yet. OK?

Hmm ... I think I'll take your advice. And since I should read thousands (or maybe hundreds) of HHr fanfictions, I should probably start now.
