Couldn't access your Portkey account? Try the following:
- Password recovery for Portkey's fanfiction section, ie, fanfiction.portkey.org or users.portkey.org
- Password recovery for other Portkey sections, ie, forums (where you're in right now), fanart (gallery.portkey.org) or fic recommendations (recs.portkey.org)
If you've recently changed your Portkey account's email address, limit your log in attempts to only two every 24 hours. Our board software might automatically lock your account if you attempt more than that. Wait out the lockout period for 24-48 hours -- I don't know for sure how long the lockout period is.
If the above fail, you may post on this thread to ask for help from PK staff. Note that:
1. your reply would only be displayed after a Portkey staff approves it. ** Explained below. Hence, do NOT post twice. If you don't want us to display your reply (or part of it) to the public, please say so in your message.
2. you would need to provide us the following info. Further details would be best communicated by email.
Most other requests for assistance should be posted in our other help forums. Don't post here simply because you're too lazy to log in or to register.

PK staff would try to contact you. Be prepared to provide more proof of your PK identity to them, for the security of your account. If you haven't received a reply after three weekends, post here again.
**We expect spambots and trolls to litter this thread, so we'd like to screen their posts before they get displayed to the public. It's the same reason all other Portkey forums require people to log in before they could post a message. To those who see the delete button on those spam or trolling messages, feel free to hit that button asap.
Now before anyone posts snarkily-worded complaints here, read this entire message. It's common sense but some people don't get it. If you want Portkey staff, who are all volunteers) to spend their time helping you out, prove yourself worthy of it. Any rudely worded message would be ignored and deleted immediately.
