I was woundering which year it was when Lily, James and the gang graduated from Hogwarts. I need it for a fanart I am doing for an author. Though I have always woundered about it. It will also help if someone can remind me which year it was when Harry first attended Hogwarts, I'm too lazy to fetch the book

According to the Harry Potter Lexicon (which has become my new best friend)

Lily and James were c. 1971-1978

They graduated in summer 1978, I believe.
