We all have an author whose updates make us sit up that little bit straighter (or even jump around), whose writing we cannot put down and must read and read until our eyes are sore, and who manages to capture D/G so perfectly in our eyes that they have gained the title of our favourite author.

I'm one of these people that just can't pick one, (I think I've read far too much fanfiction to do that), but my three ultimate favourites are:

I'm gonna have to go with...

LadyRhiyana - My all time favorite. I adore her for her understated and elegant style, for the way she writes politics and romance so darkly and so beautifully...Her fics are truly epic.

Mynuet - My go-to author anytime I need a healthy injection of romantic comedy.

Echo - She made me fall in love with Blaise/Luna; She writes them in such a great, comic manner. Only after her fics did I come to appreciate B/L as a lovely complement to D/G.

cinnamon badge - Her writing is so effortless, it nearly makes me jealous! (Okay, it makes me a lot jealous. )

HumbugGirl - Powerful writing in a devastatingly quiet way.

Sarea and Jade Okelani - What can I say? They can do everything from light-hearted comedy to heart-wrenching angst. And they do it all so well.

Oh, yeah I totally agree with HumbugGirl. I love her fic Hospitality. It's one of my favourite fics, and cinnamon badge is awesome too! I read one of her fics not so long ago, but I can't remember what it was now.
