So...I succesfully finished my first Portkey story, and now I'm ready to start my second. I went looking for the application to send it to Fic Mods for approval, but I can't find it, which raises this really stupid question I can't seem to find the answer to: Do you need to submit an application every time you start a new story? If yes, where do I find the form, because it's not in my log-in panel.

First off, congrats on finishing. And once you're approved, you're all set for as many fics as you write. The Portkey application is more like an entrance exam, only a lot less stressful and you can retake it until you pass . . . or are forever disqualified. But since you're already a PK author, you can go ahead and post that second story.

A: No. PK's fic mod team trusts authors to post only those stories that comply with Portkey's hosting criteria.
RELATED POINT: We do realize that this trust has been abused (intentionally or not) by some authors, particularly from 2006. We ask readers to hit either of the two report this story to admins links found on every uploaded chapter. It is impossible for PK mods to police every uploaded chapter.

Hi. You don't have to ask for the fic mod team's permission to upload new stories from this point. We trust authors to comply with the criteria. Of course, you're welcome to send any iffy chapters or fics to the fic mod team (ie, consult the fic team if you're not sure a chapter or story meets the criteria).
