Do PK authors need to re-apply (or consult the fic team) for every new story?
A: No. PK's fic mod team trusts authors to post only those stories that comply with Portkey's hosting criteria. RELATED POINT: We do realize that this trust has been abused (intentionally or not) by some authors, particularly from 2006. We ask readers to hit either of the two
report this story to admins links found on every uploaded chapter. It is impossible for PK mods to police every uploaded chapter.
Now to quote PMs from a very cooperative and courteous PK author.

Hey Gal-texter,
I have a few questions if you don't mind. [First question to be posted as another FAQ. - gal-texter] I have a chapter done and betaed for my 2nd story and want to submit it. Do I reapply to be an author for this new story or is there something else I need to do? Is there a thread you can point me to because if there is one that answers that specific question I can't find it. As always I appreciate all your help. Thanks!

Hi. You don't have to ask for the fic mod team's permission to upload new stories from this point. We trust authors to comply with the criteria. Of course, you're welcome to send any iffy chapters or fics to the fic mod team (ie, consult the fic team if you're not sure a chapter or story meets the criteria).
Thanks,
-Pen
