I was in a rush to reply before, so I didn't get to everybody's posts, but now that I am somewhat less hectic...
QUOTE(Pen)
Inserted the quote codes and a link to the mods only forums. Btw, I wasn't an "Admin" when I had quit PK/HP in '05, but I was one of three "SuperMods" (blue-name mods w/ mod powers in all forums). ~Pen
Why thank you, Pen.

It was messy without the quotes, hehe.
Oh PFFT. Let's be honest, you have always been practically an admin. That's why I clearly got confused and thought you had
previously been one.

QUOTE(Kris & Pen XD)
AND NOW YOU SEE HOW EGOTISTICAL WE'VE BECOME OVER THE YEARS. GEEZ CRYS, WAY TO PUT IT OUT THERE LIKE THAT. ~Kris
Aww come on, Kris, it's fun! ~Pen biggrin.gif
Aww come on, Kris, it's fun! Just like Pen said. XD
QUOTE(moogle)
I wasn't around (or at least wasn't 'active' enough in the whole forums) for when all of you mods were real busy and active and all in the forums, but I just wanna say that seeing all your nostalgia in greeting each other again really puts a smile on my face.
I've been in many forums, and left and lost contact with people (and kept contact as well) and when you all see each other again on a forum it's like getting hit by a car (except without the pain, lol) so you remember quite suddenly all the ridiculous moments and fun you all had.

It's sure put a smile on my face too! I'm glad everyone, even not the "oldbies" are happy seeing we are back!
Yeah, I know what you mean. I still talk to a lot of people from PK, just not
at PK anymore. Hehe, it's silly but PK is sort of like my roots on the internet. A lot of the people I met here have been my good friends since. Like Kris and Pen, Sandra, Tina, Daniela. So many! Haha.
Oh! Pen -- and everyone else, of course

-- did you know Tina and Daniela and I met last summer?! We were all together! We followed Tina around during her
Parselmouths seventh book tour and were her merch girls! We spent all of Sunday curled up on her couch reading the last book together, chapter by chapter! It was seriously one of the best times of my life! I'm pretty sure Tina's coming to see Equus with Danrad this fall too with me! It's gotten to the point where I think we feel more comfortable talking face to face now, ironically.

QUOTE(moogle)
I imagine for all of you it is much the same, and while I can't exactly 'share' in your enthusiasm for it all, it's been nice to see the welcoming spirit you all share!
Er, somehow this made more sense in my head. Anyway, thanks for lightening the mood!
Haha, it made sense! No, thank
you for keeping the forum going while I was neglecting it! :/
QUOTE(Pen)
Crys, thanks for the transcript! I knew the ROR played a big part!
You're welcome! Oh, it so did.

QUOTE(Pen)
You two already know that you only need to tell me if you want to mod again -- for as long as I'm sitting as admin, that is. biggrin.gif If you can't muster enough interest in HP or PK, I'll understand. Would really appreciate it if you help transition PK back to (relatively) troll-free status.
Oh, Pen. You are so ever persistent and yet totally polite and understanding. XD I am still unsure. Being back has been amazing so far. I still have to think about it, but while I'm thinking, I'm not going anywhere!
QUOTE(Pen)
One other thing to consider that it's only natural for all HP sites to gradually fade away after the end of the books. smile.gif It'll be unrealistic to gun for PK's peak levels in 2003-06 in terms of posting messages, stories and fanart/media. I'd say the mod team should be content with keeping the trolls in check, so that it'd be fun for PK-ers to see the threads, fics and fanmedia years from now. smile.gif Some of us have been there, done that -- been away for years; then dug up some threads upon returning.
Yeah, those are good points I've thought of before. The HP fandom is still quite strong, though. I doubt it'll ever go away completely.

Crys, who is wondering why we shouldn't start another Wonky thread
