WELL, honestly I pretty much wound up rather disliking Harry Potter. What with what happened when fandom and canon decided to clash.. Along with many, MANY things I wish to rant about but, I won't to save y'all's ears. (... I just said y'all.. DX)
Let's just leave it at my esteem for Mrs. Rowling having taken a fantastic plummet.

Anyway, I was rather bored and trying to find something wierd to wear to my school's prom... when I found my HufflePuff house tie. I love that thing, really I do. And combined with the amusement of Potter Puppet Pals and a wizardrock band.. I found I truly can't hate the Harry Potter universe.

I'm rather.. cool about it but, I don't think I could ever truly swear off reading Pumpkin pie deliciousness. Even if the real taste of pumpkin is one I dislike. With me being me I guess I could never let anyone push me out of something I like just because I was wrong. I'll just proudly admit it.

So, I guess I'm saying.. I think I'll stop by every once in a while to catch up on fanfics with Voldie, maybe chatter a little.. and I'll just omit the 6th and 7th book from my memories and letting things be the way I remember them. Back when the potter verse was fun and cheery.

Plus part of my hair is dyed purple now. I like to think it's a homage to Tonks.

Not too surprised. I never was too active in the forums. I was more concerned with finding fanfiction and avoiding Harry Potter pairing conversations since several friends of mine are, unfortunetly, Herons.

where'd you find the tie? and did it come in ravenclaw?

I got it at an anime convention oddly enough. It was the last one (along with seeker goggles! )... But I'm sure that Ravenclaw is sold somewhere on the internet. My friend's have a Gryffindor and Slytherin. Really all we need is the elusive Ravenclaw and some one to wear it.
