Im just wondering what everyone's favourite H/Hr moments are?!
Sorry if this has already been done MANY times before.. Im just curious.
I havent seen anything like this while I was here.. so *shrugs* just asking.

Too little choices!! I can't pick!! All those plus the Grawp and Centaur moments! -sigh-

I voted for the "Hermione believes Harry when no one else does" thing. Some things can be twisted around or refuted by other shippers, but no one can deny the fact that Hermione was the first person to believe in Harry after the GoF made him a school champion. It is the the most solid evidence, in my opinion, because it furthers our theory of H/Hr mental connection. Hermione "knows" Harry; better than Ron, better than the rest of the school; the only other people that believed Harry were Hagrid and Dumbledore. If Hermione could trust and believe in Harry like Dumbledore does, then I'd say that Harry's and Hermione's relationship is definitely not in the typical best-friend mode. They're soulmates. Simple as that.

I voted for when Hermione believes Harry when no one else does. It just makes me want to cry. Well, maybe it's just the song I'm listening to. It's (Everything I do) I do it for you, by Bryan Adams, it reminds me so much of Sirius I've just been sad and on the verge of crying while I'm listening to it. It just feels like exactly like Sirius would feel about Harry. Anyway, I know this is so I'll go cry on my own now.

Do you really think I could choose between all those!? My fave moments are in SS, when Harry thought of Hermione and the troll and the whole "You're a great wizard" and the hug. In COS, Harry couldn't get her face out of his mind and when he saw Hermione again. POA, all the times they spent together, and Harry worrying about her and saving her. GOF, Hermione believing him and everyone talking about their relationship and the triangle, and the articles Rita wrote and Colin helped with. OOTP every single h/hr moment you could ever think of...especially "Harry felt a wake of relief pass over him, that for a moment he felt light headed"..when Hermione got cursed. But that's just the gist of it.

I picked "Hermione believe's harry when no one else does" But is was sooooo hard to choose I could have just picked them all if i was allowed.

i'm in between at least 4 or 5 lol...so i put other...it's either the kiss...when she belives him and no one else will...grawp scene...centaur scene...or when he thinks she's dead...ugh

I voted H worries that Hermione is dead at the D. Mysteries (OotP). I dunno why. I love all of the moments, but this one caught my attention for some reason. I feel it might be foreshadowing some future adventure. *hint hint*

"Please don't be dead...it's my fault if she's dead." He wouldn't even look at her to see for himself.

when...Harry said to Hermione "you are not uply"...and...When...hermione kiss, hug, grab, cried..and other stuff that Harry/hermione do or not do together is BEST MOMENTS...

I picked 'Hermione believes him Harry when no one else does'. I've been H/Hr since forever, but this one... I must say, has got to be one of the best and most convincing H/Hr moment in the books. This little fact usually leave the R/Hr speechless.
It was really sweet of Hermione to stay with Harry, be on his side, go with him everywhere, help him with his First Task, and really look out for him. Harry was obviously disliked by nearly all of the school, but Hermione didn't care. She was there for him when the others weren't. She stayed up for him, just to make sure he got the Summoning Spell right. She knew Harry enough to know he would never put his name in the Goblet because he didn't have a thirst for fame.
If other shippers/non-shippers say that it still doesn't prove Hermione loves Harry in that way, then eh, they have their own opinions, but no one can deny that it proved Hermione's solid friendship, and undying loyalty to Harry

We should also add Hermione's reaction to when she first saw Ron's Prefect badge ^.^ It was with Harry then, and she said 'I knew it!' ^.^ It seems to me, someone wants to spend more time with our young Boy Who Lived

I also loved it when Hermione was the only that could get Harry out of the room. That part shook the Good Ship and the HMS Orange Crush a bit, didn't it?

Awww, don't make me chose! All those H/Hr moments make me feel warm and fuzzy inside....I just can't chose one. But I especially love all those shippy moment in OotP. Then there was the kiss....*sigh* When, when?! will JK start giving us more hints?

i chose when harry is worried that hermione couldve died becuz of him-oh man! when i read that part, i was like...damn, i am so hooked on the h/hr ship! but one of my absolute favorite moments was when they were discussing cho and hermione tells him to mention how ugly he thought she was too, but then he said- but i dont think you're ugly!! aww...how sweet! i love them.

I chose the believing Harry moment. One of the first things she says during the walk around the lake is 'Of course you didn't, the look on your face when Dumbledore read out your name!' Harry didn't even even need to explain what happened to Hermione, though she still heard him out. She knew the truth from one look on his face. Hermione believed him because she knows him so well. She can read and knows Harry better than Hogwarts: A History.

I love all those H/Hr moments but I love the Hermione sticking up to Harry part.... there are actually tons more H/Hr moments you should have posted more choices but all in all H/Hr rocks!!!!

I absolutley LOFF the adventure back in time in PoA though! I think it's so sweet, the two of them together saving Sirius and Buckbeak! I loff it and I can't wait for that bit in the movie!

I voted "other" - my favourite H/H moment is definitely the "but I don't think you're ugly scene". It's so tender and innocent... squee!

My choice is the scene in PS/SS thats where I started to think about H/Hr and so far its the best by far the strongest H/Hr scene in all books. No R/Hr can deny it that this scene is what it is.

I was surprised that there was so much deep in this what she said. Because for one you could argue why didn't Harry think she say this because he is Harry Potter? No, he knew she said this because he is Harry, just Harry. Thats where I started to ship H/Hr.

I loved the scene where Harry worried about Hermione in OotP. Oh... I just loved that part, for a second I thought SHE was going to die and not Sirius :'(

But, I also loved it when Hermione stood up for Harry and believe him when no one else did, and that so called best friend of his. I loved Hermione even more that day...

Makes you wonder..... is it destiny? is it fate? I mean they were both new to the wizarding world..... what are the odds of the two of them being best friends.... I mean Hermione surely made an effort to be close to him....Can some really meet their soulmate at age eleven in the train station.... I know she also meant ron the same time but she paid more interest on Harry but he was the boy who live, right? Hmm... I guess they're just two people who had many similarities and indifferences but still they end up as bestfriends....and Hermione has more more of a fair share in Harry's misadventures and to think she's too strict with the rules but for Harry she seems to bend a lot of them

I voted for other because my favorite is when Harry saves Hermione from Grawp (I don't remember how to spell it sorry) it's so cute but I like all the others moments

i voted for that DoM scene, but there are still so many more moments. the one from GoF where Hermione gets Harry down to the kitchens to show him Dobby. (i wonder why fat lady looks at her that way when she arives ) then all those grawp and forest and DoM scenes in OotP. i also liked the one where Harry tells her that her Galleon idea reminded him of Death eaters' scars and he said he prefered her way. i just thought it was kind of cute, just two of them talking, until ron spoke!!!

oh yeah, and the one when Hermione for the first time says V-Voldemort's name (lol) and it calms Harry down. i thought that was really sweet. (actually i was muttering 'how sweeeet!' to myself for about a minute!) if i were Harry, i'd hugged Hermione then, lol. anyways, that's all i can think right now.

I went for the HOW EVERYONE THINKS H/HR ARE ALWAYS TOGETHER , because that practically covers each and every moment that they were together. And I love all such moments, no distinction, as long as its a H/HR scene, I go for it.

I dont think there really is anything inconsequential or "less" favorable moment with H/HR.. All the time they are together is special. No beating it. Except by the TWINS maybe. But that's another matter, right.

My favorite would have to be the DoM adventure. I know that the PoA one was pretty cool too, but it is in my opinion that the DoM illustrated alot of intense moments and portrayed their flawless partnership very well.

It really showed how good of a team they really are. they work instinctively, without question, without hesitation, and without burden. They work with a simnetaneous flow, with actions that take no second bidding. They know exactly what they are going to do next. I haven't seen that kind of partnership in the books. Even Ron.

It also showed how important Hermione is to Harry. First, he pull her out of the group, making sure that she was safe, and with him.

Don't you find this part interesting? Of all the people he could've grabbed, he dragged Hermione foraward. Not only does this hint to some subconcious importance, but it also hints some instinctive protection. He did it all through this book. It's almost as if he won't trust her safety in someone elses's hands.

And then you have the scene where Harry thought Hermione was dead. (and for one awful moment I thought so too) That whole scene was not only sweet, but illustrated some feelings Harry has never shown us before, but was too panicked and rushed for them to sink in. The boy couldn't think strait, couldn't look at her properly...he was almost hysterical. She went down and for some reason he automatically thought she had been killed, either though it wasn't a killing curse that hit her. He screamed "HERMIONE!" rushing to her side in an instant, then, he started praying that she wasn't dead and blaming it on himself. This ties in with the protection thing. It was as if because he hadn't been there to push her away or take the blow himself that she had died.

The whole part was very emotional to me. I began to cry when Harry thought she was dead. That was the rawest of emotions we really saw of him throughout that entire book. (besides anger ) It was intense.

I'm so indecisive that I can't even choose a favorite H/Hr moment! There are so many that I love, so it's hard for me to just pick one. Each one was different and special for H/Hr in it's own way.

Ok I know this is horribly off-topic... but do you guys (as in British/English)+ say "loff" instead of "love" or is that just a like... weird funny little way of saying it... like kind of making fun of the word I guess? I don't know what I'm trying to say. But I'm dying to know where this "loff" word comes from. I think it's a kind of funny word lol. And I'm not trying to be disrespectful or rude if any of you think that... just curious.

And so that I'm not completely off-topic, I chose the MoM one. I like the believing one, but I just love when he's so worried about her.

"when hermione was soooo..overexcited that Harry got Perfect badge..but then she were dissappointed when it turn out Ron who got it...not harry"

"when Hermione asked Harry..if he want to help her making clothes for SPEW..but he said "Not tonight i am tried..and she got disappointed again..when he turn her down" (i don't know if you guys read that part..from "Order of Phoenix"..i forgot what chapter)

"all of chapter when...H/hr went to wood with Hadgid..meeting his GIANT BROTHER..GRIMP?..(MISSPELL)

"When they fight with Death eather...and Luscius Malfoy...that is one of greatest Moment for H/hr"

I picked others because I rather like the scene where Harry recognizes Hermione's "solidarity and loyalty" and when Hermione screams "NO!" when Umbridge is about to Crucio Harry. She tricks Umbridge into believing they've created something for Dumbledore and leads her and Harry into the woods. C'mon that's deep right there to save bestfriend by putting a teacher into grave danger.

I liked the rest of the choices, too, don't get me wrong, but the ones above stand out the most for me.

I chose H worries that Hermione is dead at the D. Mysteries, but let me tell you, that was a hard choice! they are all so adorable! I loved that part though, it was so sweet! He is worried about Hermione even though he has tons of other stuff to deal with

There are so many, but I really do love how everyone else seems to think Harry and Hermione are together. I mean, no matter how much we hope we are, we will probably never be in the Potter universe, so we should take this as a MAJOR hint from JKR, IMHO.

Angst hound that I am, my absolute favorite is when Harry thinks Hermione is dead in the Ministry. I am a sucker for dark moments like that, and once I got over the whack to the head that was OotP and reread the book, I paused to squee at that part. I'm twisted. I know.

They're all great, but I have to go with Harry realizing she's pretty...that's the first time my little eleven year-old brain actually thought that H/Hr might happen (I'm 14 now and KNOW it will happen.)

That was a hard choice to make, you should've made it into seperate polls.

It is so hard to pick out a particular favorite from the list. I chose when Harry thinks she is dead because to me this moment displayed Harry's feelings for Hermione coming out a bit. In that moment he thought she was gone for good and he was panicking. She's always been there for him and he had to think about her not being in his life anymore and he couldn't take that... like JKR said he needs her badly and here was when it really showed. I have a lot more favorites I wish I could add, but I just thought I would say something about the moment I voted for.

It was a really difficult choice.
But I choose Hermione believes Harry when no one else does (GoF).
Because I think that it is a real mark of confidence towards a friend.

Yeah...these are all so cute. But like I said earlier, my testosterone-driven brain has to go with when he notices how pretty she is and describes her in full detail. When I re-read that a couple weeks ago, my mouth actually started watering...so gotta go with that.

Stupid things that makes you a happy Harry and Hermione shippers


Theirs some really really stupid thinks in the books that makes me all dreamy and fluffy inside. Like when:

-The Weasley, Harry and Hermione are having dinner at the Burrow (example)
I don’t know about you but that phrase make me a happy H/H shipper,like it’s the Weasley AND Harry and Hermione separately. They are out of the group and together. (Lol, I’m pathetic, I know)

-When they are learning a new spell/charm, if Hermione is the first Harry is always the one to flow or the other whey around (Patronuses, he master it in year 3 and Hermione in 5)

-Harry and Hermione are the only student to say ol’ Voldie’s name.

-Sometimes Hagrid call them ‘Arry and ‘Ermione and Ron, well, Ron. He have his own way to say their name. (I know he can help it, I told you it was stupid)
What about you? I'm sure that I'm not alone, tell me, I want to know!

Like I was reading GoF just two or so days ago, and theres this point before the first task (with the dragons) harry just tells cedric (RIP) about the dragons, and runs into moody.. he talks to harry and pretty much tells him what to do.. when he realizes, he goes 'Hermione!' and then runs to class and goes 'Hermione!'
I thought it was sorta cute that she was the first person he thought of!!!

I also thought it was cute when Draco made Hermione's teeth expand largely, that he said that he didnt see any difference, and she ran off crying.. Harry and Ron yelled at him so badly! I was like.. aw Harry's coming to Hermione's rescue! how sweet!

And when Hermione found out that Dobby was in the kitchens, she came running to Harry and Ron to tell them (they had been looking for her which is very cute) and she went: 'Harry!! Harry come look!' (notice she didnt call for Ron, who was right there too) she grabbed him on his hand, and held his hand as she dragged him to the kitchen. Hehehe cute!!

All of these were from GoF by the way!! (ive been reading it lately lol)
