Hey guys! Since we're all pretty confident that it will be h/hr in the end, I would like to know where and how you guys would like h/hr to have thier first kiss. One of the ways I would like them to have their first kiss is at the Astronomy Tower on a starry night...with the moon shining on them. Maybe Draco calls Hermione ugly and she runs away and Harry goes after her. He tells her she's beautiful and all that and they kiss. How about the rest of you?

I agree with the idea of the kiss, I just love everything that has to do to the moon and the stars, I think it's pretty romantic...

mmm... maybe... I like the astronomy tower idea, and the moon and the stars... but being realistic, I think It'll be in the hospital wing, after something happened to Harry or Hermione.... they'll realise how important is to say what they feel.....well that's just me....

I think Harry will do something stupid like try to run away and then hermione goes crazy and is crying and all that.And then she will beg him to stay,they look into each others eyes and bam on the lips!

I am a big lover of adventure and epics and angsty goodness, which is probably why one of my all-time favorite romantic scenes is at the end of one of the Star Wars movies, when Leia tells Han she loves him. I would love for a Harry/Hermione kiss to be the same.

Hee. I can picture it too -- Harry getting dragged off somewhere by Death Eaters while Ron and Hermione try to get free, and Hermione managing to lean over and kiss Harry before he gets hauled off. She could even be yelling that she loves him until he's out of earshot. It would be angsty and sad and -- well, just the kind of thing I like, actually.

Of course, then Hermione and Ron would have to save Harry's bacon, and Harry could kiss Hermione to shut her up when she's scolding him for playing the hero.

Star Wars..interesting. I like the idea of Hermione shouting "I love you!" until he is out of earshot.

Hmm....here's my take. I always thought it would be really cute if Harry and Hermione went on a walk around the lake or Hogwarts late at night, bringing the invisibility cloak "just in case." The trip around the lake is kind of awkward, because they're both nervous, etc, "ohmygod he's holding my hand" type of thing. Later, they're walking through the corridors when Filch/Snape/Mrs Norris/Authority figure approaches - and they quickly cover themselves under the cloak. Now, I don't know about you, but I imagine Harry being pretty tall by 6th or 7th year - so this means that he and Hermione would have to be even closer underneath it. The person in the hallway draws nearer - Hermione holds on to him, and the inveitable happens!

Oh well - just my deluded version of it. By the way, loved the Star Wars scenarios - awesome!

Maybe Voldemort will kidnap Hermione to lure Harry in after he saves her Hermione will lean in and He'll lean in and they will kiss.

Oh! This topic is sprouting so much plot bunnies in my head that they are, as the moment as I write this, running amock.

I picture it being at night after Harry has gone through some ordeal and is brooding staring off. In order to comfort him Hermione comes and sits beside him with a bit of Pumpkin Pie for him to eat because he missed dinner. She starts consulting him and later on the kiss happens.

Ah! I am so writing this scenerio in my fiction.

Facade-- if you do write it, let us know! I would love to read it! Great idea!

If Harry and Hermione do share a kiss (and I'm praying hard that they do!). I don't think it will be a big romantic scenerio. I just don't see Jk writing it that way. I think maybe it will be more of a humor thing or maybe a face-off with Voldemort thing, but then again I really have no idea...I was never good at endings.

I really hope Harry doesn't die . That would be so sad. *grabs hankerchief* I actually don't think that JK would kill Harry off though, and I certainly hope she won't kill Hermione off either.

But if either of them die, I'm sending JKR mean mail!!! I swear I will! I would be SO incredibly sad-- but if Ron dies on the other hand...

Yeah, if anyone dies, I'd rather it be Ron that Harry or Hermione, I just don't like him too much. I would prefer if they all survived, but if one will die, I just hope it's not Harry or Hermione.

I imagine that they would kiss before Harry goes to head off Voldie. It could be a very tender moment; Ron could be knocked out before like in PS/SS, and after Hermione helps Harry with a task or something, she could finish off her "friendship, bravery, and love" speech. Then Harry would be stunned and Hermione would blush furiously as she confesses. It would be comical if Hermione kept on babbling and Harry just leans over and kisses her...*sigh* I'm such a hopeless romantic.

Maybe their first kiss will be when everyone's at Hogwarts Express, saying goodbye to everyone. They'll both be saying goodbye to someone, then turn their heads, lock eyes, and walk towards each other. Harry would be bright red and they would talk for a little bit. Hermione would then kiss him, and then it ends! Of course there's the epilogue (hopefully) after showing their wedding or maybe a family picnic with Harry and Hermione jrs. running around. -sigh-

AWW. Fuzzy feelings. Maybe it could be on Harry's Firebolt. I always thought it would be romantic if Harry took her for a ride. Or mabe on the Quidditch pitch.

I think that harry is going to realise his love for hermione after she is hurt really bad . (worse than in OOTP). He will sit by her bed every day crying, and hoping that she will wake up so that he can tell her.
And then when she wakes up, they only have to look in each other eyes.
And they know then that they are meant to be.
I don't know if JK is going to make them kiss. I hope she does write it, it would be sooo sweet

No matter how, or when they kiss as long as it's Harry and Hermione kising i'm all for it.... I really love the idea of Harry giving Hermione her first kiss.. assuming she didn't let Krum kiss her....

Anyways... I thought it would be kinda cute if they kissed out of no where when they just solved a mystery together or something... I'm not so sure if Hermione would go off running somewhere if Draco had called her ugly, she'd probably slap his sorry ass or just hex him to deah... hehehehe...

Or maybe after the final battle when they're alone in the infermotory and Harry is in a coma after been hexed by so many Killing and toturing curses and giving up his last bit of strength to destroy Voldemort. Hermione would be there for him while he lay there sleeping or dying, confessing her love for him and then... he wakes up!!! And smoochy smoochy they start to shag...

I was thinking of the same line as ron dying but I don't know.... there are tons of stuffs you can put in fic stories..

There are so many different ways I can see them sharing their first kiss. Something tells me that their confession of love will come during a battle of some kind...maybe while Harry is under the Cruciatus Curse and Hermione tells him to give him the strength to fight it. And the rest is history (maybe).

Then again, I've always enjoyed the way their first kiss was portrayed in Harry Potter and the Secret of the Heirs, even though is would sound redundant after the release of OotP. The whole idea of feelings boiling to the surface because of a seemingly innocent kiss is just so romantic.

Just some random thoughts.

That would be so cool if Harry and hermione happen. I would be on portkey all day and never leave the computer and only leave for food,water and bathroom .I would be smiling and be crying happy tears ,watch me as I stand aboard my ship ,raise my pumkin pie banner and sing glory to HMS pumkin pie .I mite even write a pumkin pie song and a pledge.

A badly burned and limping Harry Potter hobbled away from the dark wasteland of death before him. He stepped over the now lifeless Voldemort, ripped in pieces from Harry's hatred. Wizards and witches lay all around in the eerie quiet, some moaning or crying, most lifeless and silent finally released from the brutal word and onto afterlife, if it so existed. The crickets did not chirp, the sparrow did not sing, every creature mourned the horrid death and malice the final Battle had brought. Harry continued hobbling along, alone. He did not stop to check on his mentor and friend, Alastor Moody, who was obviously dead, impaled upon a tree, his intestines hanging out of his stomach. He didn't stop to help his old friend Seamus Finnagin, who valiantly kept dueling after being impaled by a knife.

Even as he passed the prone body of Albus Dumbledore he wouldn't wait, wouldn't say a prayer or even touch the skin that had been a few minutes ago warm and vibrant. A tear gripped his cheek as he strode past Ronald Weasley, his close friend and confident, the boy who he shared so many vibrant adventures with. He kept limping along, his luridly bleeding right leg being dragged with every ounce of strength he could still muster. He would not wimper, however, for this was his fault. These people died in vain; they had no power to fight the dark arts. Not even Dumbledore.

Every step followed with a "klump" of his right foot. To Harry's right a wizard no older than 20 called out for help. Whether it was a Death Eater or a resistance soldier he would never no because he just continued to move.

Harry soon reached a lone tree, its braches scarred and battered by stray hexes. He looked down at the small girl lying there in a pool of her own blood, her cold gaze transfixed upward as if looking at the moon. He reached down and picked the dead soldier up, clutching her in his arms.

"I told you to stay. I-I told you this would happen, didn't I?" Harry eyed his surroundings with tears in his eyes; at least 500 people lay dead or dying, everyone was at the very least badly injured. He understood the aurors standing and dying to aid Harry in the destruction of Voldemort, but he could never forgive Dumbledore for allowing Hogwarts students to fight, even if they did so on their own accord. Tears began to come more quickly.

Harry smiled; at least Voldemort was dead. But he could never forgive the atrocities he had committed. He, himself took the front lines and witnessed the destruction of his comrades, he, himself saw the pain and shock someone went through when he killed them. Yes, he had killed. He had killed many and he could never forgive himself. The moment Ron fell, lifeless to the killing curse, he did an action that schocked even himself.

Harry had apparently harnessed some sort of dormant power that surfaced upon Ron's death. He caught sight of the culprit and did a simple "stupefy". Instead of his victom falling over, however, his head was ripped directly from his shoulders. And Harry liked--even loved it. Harry broke out of his reverie and stared down at the girl still motionless in his arms. He could easily have fixed his bloody leg and injuries, but this hurt much worse. Seeing her lying on the ground was 10 times as excruciating as seeing all the bodies on the ground, moaning and crying.

Harry righted himself and pressed his lips to her cold, soft ones for a few seconds before releasing them. "Maybe I'll see you in the afterlife, Hermione," he wispered.

He raised his wand to his temple and screamed, "I love you!"

The world went black.


This was a spur of the moment, angsty ficlett, so sorry if it has any errors. This is an interpretation of how their first kiss could look. Sorry if I made you cry. I made me cry.

Sorry if I depressed anyone, but it is on topic, right? That was my first Angst thing and I paid for it.

Oh my word! That just- *speechless* I can't even began to describe what beautiful piece of writing that was. I loved it, even though *sniff* Hermione died.

Thank you very much. I mean that in the most honest way I can say it. You have no idea how great that makes me feel. (And that was w/o revisions!)

This is exactly why fanfiction is so wonderful. We can do exactly what we want, to whom we want whenevr we want. You can make Scooby-Doo a superhero and Dave Letterman a crack-head scientist. The only limitations are your creativity. Now, let me stop rambling.

I wonder what people will think if the pair started dating. Think of the news, the howlers, etc. It would probably be wonderful and terrible at the same time, considering he's the closest thing to a celebrity the Wizarding World has.

It would be intresting to say the least. I can just imagine Rita running around and prancing, yelling at the top of her lungs:

I like the star wars theme myself. On AOTC, I especially liked when Padme told Anakin that she had been dying a little each day since he came back into her life. If that doesn't sum up Hermione's feelings for Harry, I don't know what does. This would be a great scene for book 7 with our heros in danger. The Death Eaters are about to kill our favorite couple during the battle and then Hermione wants Harry to know that she loves him in the event they get killed.

Now I'm crying!!!! that was so sad!!!!!
