He kissed her for lack of a better alternative to hurling obscenities at her; He never expected for what started as a simple kiss – it was merely meant to stun her into finally shutting up, after all - to rapidly evolve the way that it did.

She was currently kissing him with a ferocity that matched the heat of his own fervour, as though she had been waiting interminably for her opportunity to manifest itself before her – and now that it was here, she intended to make the most of the elusive moment.

How was he to know that not even she understood neither the reasons for nor the breadth of her fierce and (so she tried in panicked vain to convince herself) irrational desire?

He was immensely pleased, yes… But also more than a little frightened by the solid weight of their combined intensity, which threatened to quash them both whole, fused as one gloriously scorched entity, within the blink of an eye.

This is really cool. You should think about continuing it and making it more into a story!

I want to...but I'm already a couple chapters into a fic where this wouldn't work, and am now experiencing writer's block

I think it'll be a while before I can work this into a longer fic, sad day!
