The scene was outside of Gryffindor Tower, night of the Yule Ball. We see the balcony in front of where one of the dorms touches the outside wall. The camera slowly draws out until we can see, at the bottom of the screen, a slowly rising blonde head of hair becomes visible. As it continues to rise, the body it is attached to comes into view; it is clearly Draco Malfoy. The viewer can see that he is standing precariously on a large rock which he has his glowing wand pointed at. When the rock reaches the same level as the balcony, Draco jumps off and approaches the French windows.
"Alohmora," he whispered.
Windows, they opened, but unfortunately they did so with a very loud crack, as he forgot to cast Mufflatio before opening them.
A girl inside heard the noise and awakened, rushing out of bed. Draco swore vehemently under his breath.
The girl gets up and walks toward the windows. Inside the dormitory it is dark enough to hide all of her appearance except for her translucent white nightgown, but as she steps onto the balcony, the light of the full moon clearly illuminates her flaming red hair and luminescent brown eyes to such a degree that she is clearly Ginny.
Draco, seeing her, talks while breath is clearly taken away, and answers her presence with a quick, "Virginia! Damnit, I had elaborate and slightly romantic plans to walk inside and-"
"Draco?" Ginny was hissing violently. "What the ###### are you doing out here at --" she looked at the sky and tried to estimate the time "-- what, freaking midnight?
"My, your mouth quite contradicts your name."
"Your mouth contradicts my birth certificate," snapped the little redhead.
"What the heck else could Ginny be short for?" Draco asked.
Draco and Ginny had been drawing closer together during this entire dialogue, but still are not aware even as this heated whisper burnt on Draco's face. "Ginevra."
"Oooh, I know exactly what you've been thinking ever since this entire time," Draco drawled. "Harry is clearly a King Arthur figure, so you're gonna be his Guinevere, you think? Well, I have news for you, Ginny. There's more to the story than that."
"There is?" Ginny asked, fascinated and terrified at the same time.
"Yes," Draco continued, "I know you want me to tell you, you do and do and do.... Well, after King Harry married Princess Ginevra, they lived happily ever after for eight glorious years."
Ginny nodded, wide-eyed. "And forever after that, right?"
"I wish I could say so, but then he created the round table. The first knight, the sweetest and purest but yet most evil knight, did you ever learn his name?"
Ginny shook her head, her eyes wide as saucers.
"Sir Draco," Draco said quietly, his face so close to hers that his breath rustled her hair.
Ginny clearly knew where this was going, yet did not try to stop him.
"Well," the Slytherin continued, "Draco was so impressive and so amazing-"
"A-a-and s-s-so modest too, I'm sure," she added, clearly trying to be sarcastic but too scared to do so properly.
"That Queen Ginevra decided to test him."
Ginny knew that he was lying here, and was gripped by a sudden urge to speak the truth. "No, she didn't. She just fell madly and irrevocably in love with him, unable to control herself because he was just what he had really wanted all those years, because Harry never ever ever noticed her and one night-"
"After the musical number 'If Ever I Could Leave You'." Draco added helpfully.
"Isn't that a Muggle thing?" Ginny asked perplexedly, momentarily coming out of his spell.
Draco rushedly drew her into his arms. "One night after thate musical number, they-"
"-did-" Ginny whispered falteringly.
"This," they finished together, and then their lips met in a heated collision of fire and ice and... and...
Harry's voice, from somewhere far away, cried, "CAPSLOCKAGE!!!!!!!!"
Draco and Ginny ignored him.
