friend of mine recently borrowed book5...

i fished out all my favorite h/hr moments (those of the subtle and not so subtle nature) and stuck stickies on those pages. i don't think she got what i was trying to say though, seeing as i wrote stuff like 'this sticky is here to distract you' and 'this sticky craves attention'

im not sure who she ships, or if she even ships at all, but... this definitely qualifies as the 'shippiest' thing i've done since... uh... diskovering portkey

When playing a game of "Catchprase", the person has a timer and category thing and the person that was holding it that round shouted out, "Harry Potter's best friend!" Everyone shouted, "Ron!"

And I was the only one who said, "Hermione!" She was the first one that came to my mind, I didn't even think of Ron.

-When you read the books and at the H/Hr moments, you take on a poor imitation of a British accents and read their lines. (I do the same when reading H/Hr fics)

-When you create scenarios with the HP Legos even though you only have about 2 sets to work with.

-When people refuse to watch PoA with you because you'll never watch the whole move, only the H/Hr parts. (of course they won't watch with me because I tend to quote the whole movie)

- When you pause certain parts of the movie because you know what they are about to say and you insert a phrase of your own and stop what you are saying and then press play and let them finish your sentece, which some how creates a Harmony moment. Ex. In PoA when they are at the table and Seamus says,"He's been sighted, he's been sighted." and they all run over to see the article. Right before Hermione speaks, I pause the movie and say in a poor imitation of Harry; "Hermione, where do you want to go married." Then I press play and she says, "Dufftown." And I pause it again and say in Harry's voice, "Where is it?" press play again and she says, "That's not far from here." Hope that makes sense....

-When you're watching the fireworks display, you shout out "Harry/Hermione", just because, and you wish the fireworks say, "Harry/Hermione".

When you get into trouble for not doing work because you were reading H/Hr fanfiction and by the time you relised you still had work to do it's to late to start it and even if you do you won't have time to finish it even if you stay up to an unreasonable time in the morning doing it.

Completely. I read fanfiction more than I read the books these days...there are some really good fanfiction writers out there. I've read so many chapters I lost count about a year ago. In the words of Luna "You're just as sane as I am"

Oh I completely understand where you are coming from. When I talk to my friends over AIM I always tell them I'm reading, but I never tell them it's Fanfiction. This forum and fanfiction is almost the only reason I get on the internet.

You know you are obsessed with Harry Potter when you have all the movies and books but you still go to buy the additional books where people analyze different aspects of Harry Potter. I have about 5 books about the HP series

-You know you're obsessed that when you would babysit, you and the kids would play Harry Potter and you would be Hermione and you would ALWAYS like Harry.

-You know you're obsessed when one of the kids, who was 11 at the time, would get on your computer, see all your H/Hr videos that you downloaded and say,"Wow, you really are obsessed."

-You know you're obsessed when you (19) and your sister (21) still play Harry Potter and you still have to have a crush on Harry

I am so relieved to hear I am not the only one who does this. But I'll go one step further and say sometimes when I hear songs that remind me of Harmony, I start to picture scenes from the movies or the books that I think go along with the lyrics. How obsessive is that, I ask you?

I was in Borders yesterday, and I saw the book put out by Muggenet...I almost had to be dragged away. I picked it up and started shaking it! XD

I was reading a bit of that book at Wal-Mart. It was so pathetic I dont know how Mugglenet could have gotten so dense. Especially the part about Ginny being there with Harry, Ron, and Hermione for the Horcrux hunt.
I was like 'Hello?? Forget about anything else but have you even seen the cover of DH?' I didnt see Ginny anywhere!

Whenever I'm in B&N, I roll my eyes and hurry a little when I walk past the shelf that holds that particular book. It's all I can do not to shield my eyes too.

I heard about the mugglenet book and I wanted to buy it just to rip it up and burn it! But its not even worth my money to do that.

I saw this lame book at Wal Mart for a dollar. I just had to laugh at the stupid thing. And as much as I would have liked to pick it up and shake it I thought I might tear it apart so I stayed clear of the evil book.

But I just remembered something that made my day. I work in a furniture/appliance store and a slogan for one of the dryers the store sells said "Because everyone needs a little Harmony in life." I immediately thought of H/Hr and PK. Who would have thought a furniture store shipped Harmony?
