Hello everyone,

I registered here a little before HBP came out, posted a few posts, and then had my hopes crushed pretty much with book6, so it took me months to work the courage to come here again.
But since I did, I've been lurking here since, pretty much daily, and you wonderful people have managed to renew my faith a little. I still haven't reread HBP, and I've been following all the discussions and theories. I really want to give a shout to you all!

But now, with my faith renewed, (though my love never died!) I thought I might jump back into things and actually de-lurk. And since I never introduced myself...

About me? I'm Laura, from North Europe, and let's say I'm over 25... But not by too many years. A friend got me into all things Harry Potter when I was 22, just turning 23, so I haven't been a fan for that many years. But right from the start Harry/Hermione have been my OTP. So to speak.
I don't write, but I like to read some fanfictions... H/Hr is my 'main pair', but I also support Ron/Luna. I used to ship Ginny with Neville, but I'm not sure I want that anymore...
Other than that, I like to draw, and have done some, very few, HP fanarts, so I might see about the fanart gallery, too...

Welcome, Laura!!! I can now see how big this site really is! The thing that shocked me was that people discussed Ron/Luna. But I don't mind. Go crazy ships. I know I had trouble after HBP to come to this site but I am glad I did. Alot of the essays and theories have help me restore some of my faith as well.

Welcome back to portkey, Black Roses! It is nice that you regained hope after HBP. I also had a bit of a falling out after the sixth book and the infamous interview. It was hard trying to find hope in H/Hr but now I'm trying to be positive. Hope you are too!

Also, I supported Ginny/Neville too but it wasn't a big interest of mine. I just thought the poor guy needed a bit of a push to gain confidence and I think Ginny gave that to him at times. But I think I like them being friends more than a couple.

Welcome back from your posting hiatus! HBP disillusioned a lot of people, so it's good to see that you're one of the ones coming back. Enjoy your time here, keep reading those theories, and yes, please post your fanart up in our gallery! You'd be a lovely addition.
