And I'm really only about 2/3rds kidding here, haha.
Haha, I'm actually very serious about this theory...

Draco definitely feels something for that 'Weasley girl' and denial will get him nowhere!

/
Pansy's thoughts/
"Potter, precious Potter, obviously he wanted a look at 'the Chosen One'," sneered Malfoy, "but that Weasley girl! What's so special about her?"
/
You know what is special about her Draco. You haven't forgotten last year's bogey hex have you? But it's more than just her hexing skills that make you find her 'special'.../ "A lot of boys like her," said Pansy, watching Malfoy out of the corner of her eyes for his reaction. /
And you're one of those boys. D'you think I haven't seen your reaction whenever someone mentions her or when you seek her out in the great hall? When you think nobody is looking? I know you Draco. Do you think I cannot read your expression now?/ "Even you think she's goodlooking, don't you, Blaise, and we all know how hard you are to please!" /
But you are right to hide it, Draco, even from yourself. Listen to Blaise. The Slytherins would never accept it. You yourself could never accept it. /
"I wouldn't touch a filthy little blood traitor like her whatever she looked like," said Zabini coldly, and Pansy looked pleased. /
That's right Draco, sink back in defeat. You belong here, with your fellow Slytherins, with me. / Malfoy sank back across her lap and allowed her to resume the stroking of his hair.

And now for something inane...
I have another theory... *drum roll*
It is with pride and humor that i present to you
... The
Codominance Theory, or Why Genes Prefer Blond/Rehead Couples
It's written in their genes.
Genes want what is in their best interest. Draco is blond and Ginny is a redhead. If they were to marry darkhaired individuals, the chances of their children expressing the blond or redhead gene would be quite slim.
However, if the genes want to solve this problem, Draco/Ginny is the answer. The children of a redhead/blond couple exhibit what is called codominance. This means that both the redhead allele and the blond hair allele are fully expressed. This makes both genes happy, and means that the children are cute little strawberry blond cherubs (or devils).
The codominance is also symbolic of the perfect union between Draco and Ginny, because it represents a healthy relationship where both parties are able to blossom without the other trying to dominate them.
Bill and Fleur's genes clearly understood this, and it's only a matter of time until Draco and Ginny's do.
