But Draco is not a Death Eater. He didn't have it in him to kill Dumbledore. She wouldn't see him as a fully fledged death eater, but a man child who hasn't been given the option to be anything other than what he was brought up to be: a death eater's son.
Draco's a DE, he's got the Dark Mark! Everyone believes that he wanted Dumbeldore's death - everyone, except Harry! I agree with that what you wrote, but the Weasley's don't know this. Hence Draco would have to prove that he doesn't want to be a Death Eater. And that means, that he would have to fight for Ginny against their prejudices!
I interpret Molly as a person who wants the best for everyone, but she already KNOWS what's the best for everyone! I suspect, that she's decided, that Harry's the best boy for her only daughter and if her daughter suddenly shows up with half a Death Eater and son of the worst enemy of her family she's going to proclaim her daughter as misleaded.

You're right, Draco loves his family. He's loyal to them, and it's because their life was at stake that he was prepared to follow Voldemort's orders. When she learns about this, Molly will see that Draco is, as you said, a human being. And that he is capable of loyalty.
I have a hard time to see Molly - all the Weasleys! - so unbiased! - Again, your view is mine too and it's a view Hermione could have and certainly Lupin and Dumbledore. But Molly wont see it before she has to - because her daughter leaves no choice for her!
Then, more important: Draco loves his family more than anything else. So why should he leave them for a girl, he declares vehement as not suited and he would have to fight for? Draco's very good at keeping his emotions down (--> he's a gifted occlumens) and proved several times that he can deny things he don't want to be!
If Draco had to decide between his family and Ginny, I think he would decide for his family. And even if he would decide for Ginny - that fact that he had to sacrifice his whole family for her, would always stand between the two of them!
But then, Draco's a Slytherin an he could find a way to get both - because it would make a lot of sense in the whole plot of HP! It would finish a family war for ever!
At this point I can't argument for D/G as such, because what's the sense of it?! It's a story about Harry, after all. But D/G makes astonishingly much sense in the whole plot: The Order wants to get ride of Voldemort, but there are other people who wants to get ride of him even more badly - the Death Eaters! Dumbledore says very clearly that they would give their life to know how to finish him of (= knowing about the Horcruxes)!
I think that the Order and the Death Eater are going to work together at a point. Obviously Harry's going to play an important role to unite them, but he's only a half. The order stand behing him, but he needs someone who the DE's would help. That would be the main plot. D/G would be a side plot: They would unite an Order-family with a Death Eater family. (And Draco would be the one which has the DE's behind him: Lucius, Bellatrix and Snape - high ranking DE's who could use their influence to unite all the others.)
Seen this way, D/G is part of HP and makes sense, but it only works when not just the Weasley has to overcome their prejudices...
