Haven't you notice how much time JKR puts Harry and Hermione together? On the 3 year when they were saving Sirius, on the 4 year when Ron was mad at Harry and in the 5 book because of Hagrid's brother. What do you think? Can it possibly mean something?

Yes, i have noticed, and i think that is really cool because it gives us an idea that Harry and Hermione make a good couple and they can work together in any moment any time and be successful. Also it makes our hope grow and be positive that Harry and Hermione are going to be together at the end of the story (7th book)

I think we all have noticed. I just hope JKR isn't setting us up for a fall. Although *most* of us H/Hr shippers aren't that cocky *cough*

Ohhhhhhh, good point, I never really gave it much thought, but now that you mention it it seems you are correct my fellow shipmate!

But we can't forget the fact that, many of us, start twisting JKR hints according to the 5 book.
She said Ginny was going to have a more important role in the book. What did we thought? She and Harry will date, or start to fall for each other. But they didn't, Ginny only helped 'our' trio on the search for the prophecy.
She said it could start to exist something between Ron and Hermione. What did we thought? They'll date. But they didn't, they just stayed more time together, because Harry was with/thinking about Cho.
And Cho's jealouse attack? Give me a break. I'm not saying JKR was saying they wouldn't be together, but that can mean that, if Harry and Cho stay together, that relation will be full of jealousy, just like Ron and Hermione. But that would be fun, I mean, Ron would be jealouse because Hermione was always talking about Harry and Cho would be jealouse, because Harry was always talking about Hermione.
What do you think? Maybe it's just me, but I'm not sure I'm the only one thinking this way.

I really don't think just because they're alone means anything. Hermione and Ron are alone *alot* when Harry is busy. They seem to be alone more than H/Hr, and this fact has definately been used against us. All that time at the Burrow and school?

Harry and Hermione are best friends, (for now) and naturally they would have to be alone once in a while or it would look wierd. This doesn't mean I don't get all giddy when they *do* get time alone... but I don't think it means anything serious.

We saw jealousy in OotP on Harry's part when he felt all left out from R/Hr. I'm really anxious to see how he takes it if they get together!

Well and you have to consider that this is all from Harry's POV, so all you hear is what he's doing and who he's with.

Who hasn't notice. I mean in the last three books they are almost half the time buy themselves.

i would already consider them a couple if I was a student at hogwarts. They always spend their time together when ron isn't there.. Even cho suspects it, she's a ravenclaw, and they're supposed to be the smartest ones of the school.. So if anything, cho should be right if she suspects anything between harry/hermione.

Indeed, i'd think they were a couple from the way they act around eachother.

We were all talking about Rowlings tendancy to write Ron out of adventures leaving Harry and Hermione. I always stated this began with the dungeon at the end of SS. But it's not. It actually starts before that. I was rereading the other day, and noticed he gets written out of Norberts escape/detention. This is an alteration from the movie I think many forget about.

So basically lets start a list of these times for each. The only time I can really remember Hermione not being with Harry and Ron is CoS when she's petrified.

POA: Sirius kidnaps Ron and Harry and Hermione try to get him back. Later, H/Hr go back in time to save Buckbeak and Sirius.

GOF: Ron and Harry have a fight. Hermione sticks around Harry (no mention as to if she hangs around Ron, but they do talk). Hermine helps Harry learn the Summoning Charm.

I would do OOTP and HBP, but there's too many to count in five and I haven't read the sixth book. Others will have to mention those.

But yes, I find it odd that Ron is left out of so many things. This is the standard setup for a love relationship in movies/tv and novels, the way H/Hr go on so many adventures. Makes no sense.

As far as OotP we have Grawp.

In CoS Harry and Ron go down into the Chamber together without Hermione, as well as into the forest to meet Aragog.
