Firstly, I would like to thank everybody for making this competition an enormous success. Thousands of members have got into the spirit of this competition with over 7,000 ratings of stories occuring. There have been 95 stories entered into this competition, and by all accounts these stories were of a very high standard. We have learnt a lot in running this competition, and have plans for many more occuring in the future.
The most important aspect of this competition is not who wins or looses, but that the whole community has benefited from it and won. I think it is important for everybody to recognise that no matter what happens in the book series, we can create our own worlds through fiction. I personally have been very impressed by the standard of entries, and I think the high ratings given by our members is a reflection of this.
The purpose of this announcement is to announce our winners, but there may be other questions that people have - we ask that you ask them in this thread. We would also love your feedback for improving future competitions, and you can provide that in this thread.
And now on to our winners. The competition was very close, with the top 3 positions changing regularly throughout the competition. I have not yet decided whether we will release story ratings. I may allow authors to view the rating they recieved in their author area, but they will not be publicly released. I am interested to hear what others think of this idea - and the feedback thread is a good place for people to comment.
And the winners are....

Congradulations to the authors of these stories - Lynney, Goldy and Ahn Na Blue.
These authors will recieve the prizes listed on the prize page. Over the next few days I will get in contact with them and arrange for the delivery of the prizes.
The random prizes will be drawn within the next few days. I apologise to everybody for the delay before these winners were announced. It has been a busy period of time for me and it was important that I checked to make sure everything was correct and finished off some of my other duties.
Thanks,
James
