It's the rainy season here in the Philippines, so the downpours are totally random and heavy. I had just finished reading HBP and was disappointed. But this little incident lightened up my mood, and I'll go along and share it.
I was in the grocery with my mom that day. HBP was running through my head, and it made my day even worse accompanied with the rain. It took us over an hour to finish, since the grocery was crowded as hell.
Anyhoo, we went outside after and ran to our car under our umbrellas. Our car was under the shade, so we didn't really get worried about getting even more wet than we already were. Unfortunately my mom misplaced the car keys and was fumbling around her bag and pocket looking for it. While waiting I was looking around, and there I saw it, or should I saw THEM.
There was this messy-haired guy with glasses holding an umbrella over the head of a bushy-haired girl. Though both their heads were black, as most Filipinos, the girl's hair had brown highlight here and there. The guy was holding the girl close as they crossed the street, hand-in-hand and were all clingy. I continued to watch them, amazed at the symbolism.
They were walking toward my mom and me. Apparantly they owned the car beside us. The guy then removed his glasses and said something along the lines "My glasses are wet." It was in Filipino of course, but I'll just transalte it for non-Filipinos. Then the girl said something like "Here let me clean it for you." And she brought out her hanky and started wiping the guy's glasses dry.
It's funny, since it reminded me so much of those times when Harry would get his glasses broken and Hermione would repair them for him. And there was also that time when Harry had to play Quidditch (forgot how you spell it

) in the rain and Hermione cast that spell to repel the water or something.
Nothing really happened after that except when the guy kissed the girl's cheek

. I tried to listen in on their conversation (sorry I'm an eavesdropper... but this case was different!), but I couldn't make out their phrases. I did hear something about break-up and wrong stuff. I happen to hear the phrase "I only liked her before coz she was pretty." Remind you of anything?
It did brighten up my day.
Oh yeah, there was a more random moment during our History class. We were talking about what would make up a PERFECT world that day. We (my classmates and I) started saying stuff like organized governments, good human resources, etc. After my teacher said "Yes we need all of those, but you must remember that without HARMONY amongst everyone and everything, all your suggestions would downright collapse." Haha... just sharing.
