Ok, here's the scoop, I was watching Gone with the Wind the other day, and I thought it'd make a good fanfic. I tried writing it myself, I might start it, but I don't think I'll get it done. If I do, it'll probably be put on harrypotterfanfiction.com, or fanfiction.net, because I'm not an author on portkey.org. D/G fics aren't really my thing, I think they'd be good together, it's just that I write more of the H/Hr fics and L/J fics.

Ok, here's your rules.

1. Parts have to be as follows
-Scarlet O'Hara - Ginny
-Rhett Butler - Draco
-Ashley Wilkes - Harry
-Melanie Hamilton/Wilkes - Hermione
-Frank Kennedy(Scarlet's second husband) - Dean (Or anyone, doesn't matter)
-Charles Hamilton(Scarlet's first husband) - Neville
-Sue Ellen O'Hara(Scarlet's sister) - anybody, but they have to be with the person who plays Frank
-India Wilkes(Ashley's sister) - anybody, but has to be with the person who plays Charles
-Luna has to be Ginny's best friend
-Ron is Harry's best friend, and Ginny's brother of course.

2. For those of you who have seen the movie know that Sue Ellen and Frank are together, but Scarlett steals Frank from her sister, and Charles Hamilton is with India, but Scarlett steals him away from India. This has to happen in the story.

3. It can be in whatever time period you want, preferably in the south during the Civil War, but that's only a suggestion.

4. The character's have to be similar to the ones in the movie, like Scarlett's arrogance, Rhett's charm, Ashley's nobleness, Melanie being naive in thinking Scarlett is looking out for Ashley as a favor to her, and so on.

5. Rating can't be any higher than PG-13.

Naturally this is an AU fic, so the characters definitely don't have to be the same as they are in the books. For example, Luna doesn't have that dreamy state, Hermione is not obessessed with books, etc.

This might sound like a crappy idea, and I'm sorry if it does, but I thought it'd be good. Hopefully it hasn't been done before, somebody let me know if it has.
