While I don't ship G/Dr in cannon; I absolutely love this ship in Fannon. All of the best fan fictions I've read have involed this ship. So now to name their children.
Based on "Draco" and "Lucius" I'd say a boy would have to have a latin name. I'd think something like "Addan" (meaning white, this would be due to Ginny's influence of course) "Janus" (the god with two face, the god of beginning's and endings) "Julian" (the name of serval Emperor's and a very famous General) .
If it was a girl, then I could see something French, Spanish or Italian; possiblely Greek. (Draco would NEVER have a little girl named "Molly"). Perhaps something like "Isabelle" "Brielle"; "Artemis" or "Vesta" might also be a possiblities.
Anyway I see with three boys and a girl. All with fiery shiny hair. That is a perfect mix of draco's blonde and Ginny's red. The boys would all have their father's perfect skin, the girl would have a dusting of feckles across her nose. At least that is how I picture them.

I like Sebastian for a boy.. seems like something Draco would name his son.. or William.
Sebastian, for sure! I've always really liked that name... and "Sebastian Malfoy," how cool does that sound?
I wrote this some time ago somewhere *is lazy*:
They would give [their daughter] a nice, complicated name - although I see Ginny saying "I wouldn't like my children to have unnecessarily complicated or unusal names." So perhaps her first name would be simple and common - like "Lisa" - but her second name would be regal - like "Earlene". Thus, she would be called "Lisa Earlene Malfoy".edit:
QUOTE(White Pixie)
"Janus" (the god with two face, the god of beginning's and endings)
Do you imagine being called "Janus", though?

... Poor kid, he'll get teased at school the whole time!
And on that subject (and completely off-topic): did anyone find curious the way Draco reacted when Ron snickered, back in PS/SS when they, er, introduced themselves? He quickly jumped to the conclusion Ron thought "Draco" was funny... maybe Draco had been teased before about his name? Ooohhh, plot bunny! >.>

See I can't see Draco ever naming his child a name that is a "nick name" for something else. "Lisa" is shortened form of "Elizabeth". I can't see him agreeing to let his daughter have anything short of the original
pure form of the name. I could see them naming their daughter "Elizabeth" but calling her "Lisa". Much like Ginevra is "Ginny".

Yes I can imagine

. "Janus" isn't that bad of a name for a boy; I have known two boys named "Ashley" and one named "Cary". None of the boys had it to bad with name calling though, aside from the normal elementary school stuff. (Transversely I have an Uncle Harry, who to this day is gets teased as "Hairy Balls" by my other uncles).
A man can have a name that sounds like a woman's as long as he's not to effeminate, which I don't think would be a problem for Ginny's son.

Yes, Draco's always adorable when he's in love with Ginny to the point of being her slave. Well, depending on the writing.

Has anyone else here read Jedi Tess of Gryffindor's Potter vs. Malfoy: War's End? Lovely fic, lots of D/G goodness. UNfortunately, the siders are Hr/R and H/B, so it's not quite up to Portkeyer standards. Either way, Draco and Ginny's son is named Hayden- a name I've come to agree on.
I also really like the name "Hayden" though I wouldn't shorten it. The Hayden Vally in Yellowstone national park, is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've ever been. "Hayden" would be a good name; though it would break with the Latin based Malfoy names. (By the way do you think you could PM me a link to that fic? It sounds great

Draco and Ginny have to have more than one kid, but they aren't gonna have a big family - Ginny's definitely a career woman. But Ginny wouldn't want her kids to be like their dad was when he was younger (aka a spoiled brat) so she'd want more than one. Plus, she grew up with a big family and she probably would want them to have that companionship that a sibling can give you.
John Michael nn John Michael - John Michael will have curly blonde hair, not as light as Draco's, and brown eyes. He'll be a smart, athletic boy with a bit of a mischevious, bad boy streak. He'll be in Ravenclaw, much to the entire Weasley family's relief.
Sebastian Caleb nn Sebastian - Sebastian will definitely idolize his brother and keep up the Malfoy bad boy thing, but he'll be more reckless than John Michael and considerably more arrogant. Unlike John Michael, Sebastian will be a Slytherin. He'll make Draco proud but Uncles Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, and Ron are gonna have to get used to it. He'll have brown hair and gray eyes.
Francesca Beatrice nn Francesca - The only Malfoy girl and Gryffindor, she'll be cheeky but clever, and an excellent Quidditch player. She'll play Chaser on the Gryffindor House team when she's in Hogwarts. Francesca will have strawberry blonde hair and brown eyes.

Hayden. (I think the last one is pretty.

For a boy, I see the couple naming their child a name of regal stature. Something like Sebastian or something beginning with a P. For a girl I see them naming her something that can produce a nickname like Ginny's name. Possibly Charleene but they'll call her Charlie.

Oh, geeze, tough question. I'd say, for a boy, William Christian Malfoy. Don't ask, I have no idea. It just sounds really proper, doesn't it? For some reason I can picture Ginny wanting a prim little lad.
As for the girl, I am totally hooked on the name Tristan Avaela. I don't know, I think I got the name from "Potter vs. Malfoy: Wars End" even though that name was originally given to Harry's and (girl)Blaise's child. As for Avaela, I just think it goes, don't you?

This is my favorite ship!
I would think that if Draco and Ginny ever reproduced, the boy would have blonde hair, brown eyes, and a dimple in one cheek ,(for some reason, I always envisioned Ginny with one) and he would also have the tendency to be more like his mother.
The daughter, however, would have red hair, silver eyes, and be much more like her father (relatively humorless, amazing pouting capabilities.)
Names, ahhh names...
I like Sebastian Aurelius Malfoy for the boy, and I am considering using it in a fanfic I'd like to write (so please don't use it.)
For the girl, maybe something like Madeline Malfoy. Use Ginny or Draco's mother's name in the middle.

I really like the names Adrian and Adon for boys... I can totally see Draco and Ginny's child having some sort of A name.
However, everyone keeps bringing up Drake, and I just don't see that happening at all. It's too close to "Draco" and I doubt Ginny would let Draco name their child after himself.

i beleive Draco and Ginny should have 3 children. 2 boys and 1 girl.
The boys should have powerful names like, Aden (Handsome, Adorned) or Alexavier (Protector of Mankind) or even Marcus (Warlike).
The boys should be strong, powerful. The oldest son should look like his father (while/blonde hair, great skin, great/tonned body). The middle child (hopefuly son) should also look like his father but he should have strawberry blonde hair. The oldest one should be in Slytherin and the younger boy should be in Gryffindor.
Both boys should protect their sister at all costs, but shouldnt be over protective (at times they should be).
The girl should be the youngest and should be beautiful. She should get her looks from her mother but she should have whilte/blonde hair. She should be in Slytherin. She should be nice but have a nasty side to her. She shouldnt take crap from anyone but at the same time she should be caring. She shouldnt be sluty, but not innecent. i dont realy no a name for her, but it should be beautiful, easy flowing and scream im powerful and beautiful.
They middle names should be Draco's and Ginny's parents name.
They should be very close to one another, but distent from the rest of the weasly family.

I would like Euan for a boy. Euan Draco Malfoy sounds OK.

I think when it comes to names for Ginny and Draco's children it depends on your take on Draco's relationship with his mother at the time the children are born.
It seems to me that JKR has wizarding families follow traditions closely. Blacks are normally named after the stars. So if Draco and Narcissa have a strong relationship he would want his children named after stars.
When you look at the Malfoy names we know Abraxas, Lucius and Draco.
Abraxas was a greek god.
Lucius was a romeman leader.
Draco (lawgiver), the first lawgiver of ancient Athens, Greece, from whom the term draconian is derived.
So if in the fiction Draco is close to Lucius and not Narcissa. He would go for a powerful leaders name. If it is totally Draco's choice he may do like his mother and pick a star name that is also a god or strong leaders name.
But we must remember that Ginny would have a say in the childrens' names. Seeing how the Weasleys have common names and no real tradition behind their first names, I think Ginny would go with the Black family tradition. Trying to make them as common as possible. She would give them all middle names based on her family, like William or Charles.
Unless Ron did something like save Draco's life he would not allow any of his sons' to have the middle name of Ronald.

I guess that Cupid12203 has influenced me too much! (go check her livejournal...her art is AMAZING and soooo lifelike! She has a pic of the entire Slytherin Quidditch team based off the D&G underwear ads. *dies*) So I can only see them naming at least one of their sons
Liam.
As for a daughter, I'm sure that Draco want to name one of them Narcissa, little mama's boy that he is (but we love him anyway

)
And then Ginny would get him back by demanding that he name the next son after one of her brothers. Or her father. Who knows. I bet they would have a very competitive relationship.
