Because I've made a bit of a return to the boards, I figured it would be the proper thing to come into the thread and anticipate all the squeeage once more.

First, I'd read and reread and reread to make sure that I wasn't dreaming. Then I think I'd scare everyone in the neighbourhood by shrieking, "WE WERE RIGHT!" and then probably kissing the pages where it happens. I'd probably consider ripping them out and going to sleep with them under my pillow.

Then I'd call my (R/Hr) best friend (she'll kill me, because she's a slower reader than I am ), say, "It was nice debating with you, my dear" and hang up. (I probably won't, because I'd murder her if she somehow finished it before me and told me what happened, but it's amusing to fantasize about.)

And then I'd hop on the computer, type up an incoherent, babbling entry for my LJ about it, and then go to every single HP website I have an account on and post on the appropriate thread.

Throughout all which, PK will be up on the screen, and I'll be refreshing every half second to see what all the rest of you have to say about the glorious, glorious occasion.

There, I got incoherent even thinking about it! *huggles H/Hr*

Well, after I'd scream my brain out and celebrated with my fellow ship mates, I'd really go to other shipper sites/threads to see their reactions, but I wouldn't gloat...well...only to one R/Hr shipper who honestly stated that he KNOWS for SURE that R/Hr are gonna end up together because he has some sort of connection to JKR. LOL!

Screaming, jumping up and down on bed, greaking out entire family would come first. Then loads of happy tears then hit the boards!!!!

I'd scream out of pure joy. Really, I would. Then I'll tell my R/H shipper best friend "I told you soo!" (She won't be offended, cuz she's not as obsessed as I am). Needless to say, I'd be very very very very very very HAPPY.

K so first I would go in a state of shock for like 20 minutes with the book in my hand, staring at the wall.
then i would read it again annnnd would finish the book the same day cuz it would be too much for my heart if i dont read it!
Then i would get online, quote the part where it happened, leave it in all my signatures.
Would by hyper for 6 months!

I will be very, very pleased if H/Hr happens (or if there's at least a set-up for it for the last book). Probably will wear a grin, yeah.

After reading some shipper threads on other forums for the past few weeks, it would be very hard not to gloat to some smug R/Hr shippers, but I'll try to be a better person than that (morality, it is a drag sometimes).

Can't wait can't wait can't wait for HBP.

I'd go onto CoS forums where all the Herons lay and be like "IN YOUR FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"


And watch them all cry!!!!!

Haha. I wouldn't freak out or anything, but I might sit there and stare at the wall for a few minutes. I'd be quite happy. And then of course I'd have to finish the book in one sitting, no matter how much of it is left.

Hmm, this is interesting, I'm used to the 'if it doesn't happen' questions.

Well.

I would call my friend Michael and cackle very loudly into his ear for about 40 seconds. Then he would ask what I was cackling about and I would realize he wasn't finished with the book yet. So I would say "Oh, sorry, what page are you on?" And he would say "I've only gotten through about half of it". And then I would say "Oh, right. Well give me a jingle when you've gotten round the second to last chapter, would you?"

Then he would and then he'd ring me up and I'd pick up the phone and he wouldn't say anything and then I'd cackle evilly for about 30 seconds, pause for a breath, and then continue on.

Most likely I will go into fits of giggly hysterics for the rest of the year. But more immediately, I would probably sit in disbelief for several minutes, reading over and over those lines that would so make my life happier.

After the shock wore off, if it ever were to, I would have to call my Brother (the filthy R/Hr person that he is!) and scream incoherently something along the lines of "ha ha! neener neener!" Especially since he is the one who got me hooked on HP in the first place!

I am so excited for HBP, I don't know if I will sleep at all after I get my copy. Because if I don't finish it right away, I know I won't be able to go online because you punks will give away what you already know!

Either way, I am nervously and blissfully prepared for whatever JKR has in store for us...as long as it's H/Hr!

Interesting topic. I'm not going to lie...there is going to be some screaming coming from my house. I tend to do this little squeeing thing where I run around from one side of my house to the other, jumping and going "Oh my god!!!!" over and over again till I waste all my energy. I did this when I found out the release date for HBP and shall do it if/when H/Hr happens. Sad, but true...my parents aren't even phased anymore when I do this.

Then, I will call up my oldest brother and laugh for a good five minutes, granted he doesn't hang up on me, and then ask: "When can I get my money???" Ho hum, yes, he is an R/Hr shipper and we do have a bet on the outcome of ships...is that so wrong? But at that point I really won't care about the money because, hello? H/HR just happened!!!

And then I'll reread it over and over and will be in a happy stupor for the rest of the week. Ah, should be fun.

i would first:
1) Jump up and down and scream like a little girl
2) Call up my R/H shipping friend and yell "i told you so" she would kill me, and I would never let her forget it. She and i have been debating this for years (we are extremely obssessed).

I would commence jumping on my bed, hit my head on the ceiling, have to go to the emergency room, lie in bed unconcious for about 6 hours and when I finally wake up I will buzz the nurse and tell her to bring the entire staff inthere because something had happened and when they all got in there I would say "H/Hr happened!!" then, from the realization, I would collapse on my bed only to reawaken two days later in my room and put HBP in a glass case so I could view it perfectly from my bed.

BUT before I receive the concussion I would post on all the R/Hr-biased forums screaming "YOU LOSE!" and putting the little " " face up. Oh, and I would also add 'Don't you feel stupid now? I expect full apology on all those hate mails.'

THEN I will venture to CoS forums to point and laugh at the rude people who said "You will burn in hell if you do not board the Good Ship."

Suffice to say, half the United states would have a bone to pick with me.

I'll be extatic for weeks, if not months.

I'll be calling everyone I know right after I find out saying, "Ha! I knew it! It happened! Harmony for ever!" and hang up. Haha.

I'll email people, long, involved emails about how I knew it all along.

And...as tempted I as I am, I'll try and refrain myself from saying "I told you so!!" to the Herons online. Though the Heron I personally know'll have it coming.

I live in New Zealand and for the 16th July dad was going book a family trip to australia!! I was like NOOOOO I ahve to be in New Zealand for the release!! My friend and I are crazy over H/H and chat about it all the time.. H/H are our life.. so to say we wouldnt be able to share the release of the bookt ogether was a nightmare!! But I convinced dad to book me to go a day later!!

My friend will be around and we goign to read the book then if/when H/H happen we can give each other big hugs and go totally crazy!! Its going to be great!! Bring on the book!!

It would really be cool. I would probably write more fics to celebrate it. Then my brother and I will go around telling other people "We told you so!"

Hmm... Well, it would suprise me if I would stare at the page with a big stupid grin on my face and then read that part over and over again. After that I'd read the rest of the book, call all my friends who I know like HP and say "So... how far have you managed to read?" then I'd say something along the lines of "I told you so!" XD
Then I'd go online and celebrate, grin widely for the next year... and perhaps write some more fiction.

I'd reread the part over and over again. Then, i'd reach for my cell phone and text messege all my R/Hr friends "I TOLD YOU SO!"

I'll die of happiness Well, maybe not, but I will scream and jump up and down like a loon and then re-read the whole chapter then IM my best friend and gloat a little. Just a little....

Good question. I'll probably be squeeing my heart out WHEN Harry/Hermione happen in canon.

This might be a bit off topic, but the second thing that I will do is visit my AP Government teacher and ask her to hand over her 50 bucks for losing the bet and choosing R/Hr to be the ship that's going to sail (as if!).

This is also going to be off topic, so I apologize but I just need to get this off my chest. I was just over at mugglenet.com not too long ago and clicked on Books 6 and 7. On one of the links, there was one titled Possible Couples. There were excerpts and quotes about the whole R/Hr pairing. And right below that was the Harry/Hermione stuff. But before nicely providing those pumpkin shippers with 2 links (I KNOW that there's more than 2, we all do), this is what they have to say- their post-OoTP thoughts. Without further ado, here it is...

I imagine I would be the same as I was at the end of Dawsons Creek, but times about 20 billion. Jumping up and down sqealing my head off, running up and down the stairs, go and have a mega piss-up to celebrate, then go back and read the rest of the book. Oh yeah, and go and rub it in the faces of anyone who doubted it would happen.

#Sit there with the book open at The Page and have a squeeing fit
#Call my R/Hr obsessed friend and laugh in her ear for five minutes before finally telling her that she owes me for the bet that we had
#Go to every R/Hr site and type (cheerleading style): WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS! WE'RE EVERYTHING YOU'RE NOT! WHO RULES?

Cute, it seems to me that most of us wouldn't excersis self restraint. Not that I'm saying I would.

1.Have a heart attack.
2.Survive from that heart attack and continue by screaming.
3.Spread the good news
4.Re-read the chapter then refer to number 1.

First, I would have a *squuuueeeefit* which would probably serve to freak my poor mother and dogs out. Then, I would come online, make a hysterical LJ post, go to my main HP forum and post a huge WE WIN!! BUHAHAHHA on the R/Hr thread, while abusing my powers to change the news feeder...etc.

...and then I would read the book again.

Oooh, definatly good topic. I would carry out the following actions, in this order:

1. Spit out or swallow the gum I'm constantly chewing.

2. Smile so big and for so long my cheeks are sore and/or stuck that way until I'm forced to seek medical attention.

3. Squeal loud enough to wake the dead hampster burried in my back yard.

4. Jump!

5. Point and laugh at all known R/Hr fans.

What would I do, what would I do?

After I would recover from the shock I would go in my back yard, light up a campfire and do a victory dans around it all night screaming and squeaking like a maniac. Then I would repeat the procces every night for a month. Then I would die happy.

And perhaps I would feel sorry for all those poor R/Hr fans... OR MAYBE NOT!!!

I'm gonna scream in joy..shove it in all my friends who think its R/H and D/H! eww! Then..im gonna re-read the pages that prove there togther over and over and scream in joy!!

Ohhh I just thought of something else I can do.
I am a Gerard Butler fan and I am a frequent visitor at G.B.net, and in one topic we tarts (fans) were discussing how he would have been playing Sirius, now I mentioned I was a H/Hr supporter and then in come some R/Hr's. I was the only Pumpkin Pie lover.
I got 30 PM's from R/Hr shippers (nothing mean though) and I'm sad that I'm a loner over there, but if/when H/Hr happens I'll fill up my signature over there with H/Hr pictures and tell them that H/Hr indeed did happen. Showing my support for them H/Hr.

My friend will most liekly be over. She is a R/Hr'er. So, if she is asleep at this point. Then I will let her sleep.However she got to about page 400 in OoTP before she went to bed ( I pulled an allnighter). So I imagine she will be awake still.

She is already very sensitive to me being right over her, so I shall have to keep it down and only make small 'eep' noises occasionally, so as not to hurt her feelings. Then when she gets oh-so-confused as to WHY jkr would put them together, I shall load the Pumpkin's army page and peruse the list of my favorites for her.

I was planning on being home on my couch and could then have squeed to my own delight and possibly indulge in a little bit of H/hr drinking game.

Now, however, I am going on vacation and will be reading HBP on a plane. Oh, well, drinks are free on flights... Maybe my neighboor on the flight will be happy to hear my happy ramblings about H/Hr???

If I'm reading the book and H/HR is happening, I'll probably start laughing like an idiot, jump up and down on my bed repeatedly shouting YES I KNEW IT OMG OMG OMG I KNEW IT AHHHHHH and run around my house squealing and laughing and thoroughly scaring my family. Then I'll sit down to finish the book but I'll probably be trembling uncontrollably out of delight and so I'll have to get up and run around again. And then maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to finish the book =)

When I find out that H/Hr is happening ill be running around my house squealing like a little school girl and wishing i was hermione....and then ill call my friends and tell them that h/g was never going to work...to weird...and then ill throw a party in the couple's honor...LOL....well probably not that far...

I know exactly what I will be doing when the H/Hr ship happens!
I just so happens that I made a bet with my best friend and since she is a R/Hr shipper, that means I win the bet.
Of course this means...
3 drinks at a restaurant and/or bar on her bill ("make that shot a double")
and making her endure some silly dare that involves either mooning or making her go up on some stage at some open mike involving stand up comedy or karaoke.

I am friends with R/Hr shippers so I'll try not to get excited around them. I want H/Hr to happen but I dont want to make my friends heart broken as I would be if H/Hr didnt happen.

Well, something along the lines of meeting my dear R/Hr shipping friends, asking them how was life and listening to them rambling about how colours seemed so dull and how food had no more taste because their pair just didn't quite go the way they wanted it to be... And I'd just say: "Oh well, s*** happens." And then I'd quietly walk away to some lost forest where I could yell to the world I was right without the possibility of having anyone around to complain about my instant madness.

Yeah, I'd pretty much go nuts and would probably end up in a hospital facility rambling something along the lines of "I knew it I knew it I knew it! Ahahahaha!!!"

But one thing, maybe it's kinda off topic, but I couldn't get it out of my mind... Most people think Harry's gonna have some kind of romance in HBP, and that heart image just about confirms it, but... I could wait for the romance with Hr to begin in book seven... I know, shoot me in the head, send me to the north-pole, whatever, but I think that, alhtough I'd be happier than ever to see H and Hr finally together, I think it would be even better to have them together just at the final book. Like winning a football game in the last second, it always tastes better.

Yeah, maybe I'm already nuts...

I'd probably...

1. Burst out crying and kiss the nearest person.

2. Dance around my street singing.

3. The day the book came out that it happened in, would be counted as a national holiday in my opinion. That day would be celebrated in years to come.

4. Find the nearest R/Hr and do the 'You're not singing anymore' song, while pointing at them and laughing.

5. Go find all the people who said it wouldn't happen, and I was crazy, and rub it in their faces

6. Go round and collect my bet money.

7. Read the rest of the Book.

I would scream my head off from sheer joy. Maybe take one my prescription nerve pills to keep myself from flying around the room.

Then I'd reread it a few times to really absorb it.

Then I'd scream some more.

Then I'd cry.

Then I'd go to my website and put "I told you so" on all the front pages of my sites.

Then I'd post "I told you so" to every single R/Hr, H/G shipper I knew. I'd be totally immature about it.

Then I'd erect a shrine to JK Rowling for doing the right thing.

Then I'd tear said shrine down in rebellion for her making us wait so long for the final answer!!!!

That's about what I'd do.

I'd stare at the book for a decade or something with my mouth hanging open very stupidly.

I'd scream hysterically saying I CANT BELIEVE!!!!

I'd laugh so loud that my parents would think i need to go to a mental institution...

I'd get myself banned from every hp chatroom in cyberspace by bombarding them with my celebration.

I'd go hack mugglenet's server and cross out all of the damn RHr propaganda.

I'd pull down my pants and wag my arse at every Heron out there on the lake...

I'd turn on my "Disturbed" Music and start dancing screaming WA A A A A A A A!!!


Thats all i can think of right now...lol

I would:

1) Read the obvious H/Hr section
2) Intake of breath
3) Squeal.... loudly
4) Begin to jump up and down, exulting with joy
5) Run around while still hopping every now and then
6) Squal... loudly... a few more times
7) Go online straight to an Hr/R shipper and rub it in their faces. Yes, I'm more than willing to gloat over it. No, I will not feel bad or anything.
