I think one of the reasons everybody is so slack about is that there's no giant banner proclaiming that noms are open, like there usually is.
Usually I'd be like 'oh it's that time again' when the GIANT ad for it was flashing in my face. It was semi-annoying but it certainly got peoples' attention. NAPPA should put one up again.

Absolutely true. Am I too late to reply that. Anyway I gave a handful of nominations. Take that. Seriously, there not enough noms for D/G fics. And I'm frustrated! Where are the die-hard fans?
It is very sad that I only learned of the existence of this thread today.

Uh, yeah, we were kinda rushed. I'm not going to go into great detail here, but the RCAs almost didn't happen this season.But yes, we still need your nominations. We appreciate that people have been nominating but, erm, some have been forgetting what makes a story eligible for nomination. Just a reminder:
-- The story must have been completed after 30th June 2004 (remember that PK lists the date this way: 30/06/2004 = dd/mm/yyyy).
-- The story must be hosted on Portkey.
-- You can nominate a story even if it has already been nominated. That said, we would still really love it if you could make fresh nominations.
-- Nominations close on 31st December 2004.
