Ive met Batgirl... but I knew her before PK, we go to school together and are best friends.

But... I guess if all goes to plan, Bg and I will end up running into Max at Niagra Falls this New Years.

(Sidenote: If anyone does meet someone from the net...please be careful! Go with someone and make sure you know them pretty good. Im not saying that anyone from PK is a psycho rapist, but... Ive just seen too many 20/20's and this is my worry-wort mode kicking in.)

No, unfortunately I have never met any one from Portkey. Maybe I have walked by them at the mall or something, but certainly haven't personally met anyone. I only know one other person who may like hp as much as I do, but she doesn't really go on this site.

yes, my best friend is Hermione Granger. we go to the same school and we've been best friends since the 6th gr. she slept over my house once. *childish tone*We stayed up ALL night! and we went grocery shopping at 1 in the morning. and all summer, we've been goin to the mall 24/7. so ya, she's very special to me. she's a great friend. so *takes out a lollipop* bye! go talk to her ome time, she's REALLY nice!

Uhhhh... no, not that I know of. I used to have a friend that posted on Artistic Alley (then became fed up with the whole HP fandom), but she was into Snape/Hermione *gags*, so she never came on here. And I also knew her before HP even existed sooo.... I suppose she doesn't count.
Well, at least she's as against R/Hr as I am. In fact... i've never actually met a R/Hr shipper in real life... thank god.

I thought it'd be interesting to see how many of us actually have relationships in real life.

I only know one member who is my half-sister, but I've never actually met any other member from here in person. I usually don't meet people from the internet. Have any of you guys gotten a screen name and then told a friend to get one too and now you chat here? How does it affect your convos on here?

I just added two PK members as friends on myspace a week ago.
Otherwise, I don't know anybody "personally". Like on MSN or anything...

I'm always open to it though. It would totally rock to make personal friends on PK. My MSN, Yahoo messenger, and myspace identities are all in my profile.

I got four of my RL friends to join PK, and I just saw two of them yesterday. The other two I haven't seen in awhile, but that's the way life goes.

Actually, I have met three PK members in RL. One of them I've met twice since she and I live in the same region. It's a lot of fun and you know that you always have one thing to fall back on in conversation.

Never. I've been here for over 3 years (god I'm old!) and I have spoken to one PK member over the phone, and never met anyone else. None of my friends are on here...or even know about this site!!

However, interestingly, as I'm a fanfic moderator, I once casually dropped that information into a job interview (I am an office administrator professionally) and as it's something I do voluntarily, plus what I do is very useful skills for the jobs I go for...it now goes on the CV!

can't say I have met anyone. I have only talked to two people the whole time I have been on forums who have actually been to new Zealand, so I guess I can't expect to actually meet anyone.

There is one member here (who doesn't really post anymore), that is very special and dear to me, who I met on this site, is my best friend, and who I talk to every day on YM. I've never met this person in RL, but I hope to (soon, hopefully). *squishesss person*

Ah that was you. lol random people add me all the time so I tend to just accept but not talk to them. I only just noticed your reply in here and realised who it was. Im not actually busy I just keep it on that to stop the insane number of tells I get all day so feel free to come say hello though you will have to wait as I'm just about to head off to Tafe and then later the movies (seeing Tenacious D In: The Pick Of Destiny ).
