Bad Day

Professor Severus Snape walked towards his office. He had just come from a very stressful meeting with Albus. It seemed that Deatheater activity, unsurprisingly, was at an all time high. Unfortunately for him, this meant he had to go undercover often. He had recently missed three days of teaching, and students were starting to get suspicious. Many rumors were flying around the school. Theories ranged from him simply not feeling well, to having a lurid affair with a witch who lived away from the school. Snape scoffed at two second years who walked past him giggling.

As Snape neared his office he heard strange noises coming from inside. He counted to five before flinging his office door open. Snape turned an unhealthy shade of red as he saw the reason behind the noise: Draco Malfoy had Ginny Weasley pinned up against his desk, and was attacking her lips with his own. Draco’s arms were around her waist and inching even further down, Ginny was roaming her hands over his chest, and it seemed that with a minute longer all clothing would have been discarded.

“What is going on in here? Does this look like a bedroom to you? Explain yourselves immediately!” Snape bellowed regaining some of his normal pale complexion. Ginny was blushing and trying to hide behind Draco, who looked very at ease, as though he had not been caught snogging someone he was supposed to hate.

“Well you see, sir, there was something I wanted to talk to you about, and since you weren’t at dinner I thought I’d catch you here now. It turns out Gin…Weasley here had a detention tonight. We started arguing, then well…do I really need to explain to you what the tension led to?” Draco asked smirking.

“I do not appreciate your tone Mr. Malfoy. And as for your inappropriate behavior, you will be serving detention with Miss. Weasley tonight. In SEPARATE corners of the room.” Draco glared at the potions master. Snape took a deep breath before giving out instructions.

“Mr. Malfoy, I want you to scrub those cauldrons over there.” He said pointing to the left side of the room. “Miss Weasley, same on my right.” Ginny nodded before practically running to her side of the room. Draco grumbled as he walked slowly to his side, the murderous look never leaving his face.

Snape stalked to his desk and slumped down into his chair. It was the perfect ending to a horrible day. Now not only would he have to work to keep that insufferable Potter safe, but he would have to be looking out for Draco, as well. Snape wasn’t worried about Lucius, oh no. Snape was worried about how violently Ginny’s brothers would react when they caught wind of this! He moaned, burying his head in his hands.

I have another ficlet similar to this(snape again. it's posted on my fanfiction.net account), should I start a series of different people walking in on them (kissing only, get your minds out of the gutter!) and post at the fanfiction part of portkey?
