I was watching the Mummy biggrin.gif and this popped into my head, problem is I have 6 stories in progress right now and plenty of ideas I want to start so I don't want to do another one! whistling.gif

Onto the Challenge!

Somehow Ginny, Draco, Hermione, Ron and Harry (add Luna or Lav for Ron if you want!) anyway the group somehow travel back to ancient egypt. The Pharoah, (who's 17-18) falls for Hermione and wants to make her his Queen. And a priest is convinced that Ginny is a goddess. Meanwhile, Draco and Harry are trying to keep the women they love and go figure a way back to Hogwarts!

So what does everyone think?

I really like this idea. I'm going to start writing this one... It's going to be a couple of chapters.... This is what i got so far.....

Fate is such a funny thing really. It can lead us astray from our paths or let us continue making our way until tomorrow when we might find ourselves at a fork. And so it was purely the fault of Fate when two years ago Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy were found Kissing on top of the potion master's desk. It was also fate's fault that they refused to acknowledge each other once the rest of the school found out. One has the right to blame destiny for the tale i am to tell, because destiny was the one that led them to that classroom two years ago.
Our story, for that’s what it really is, starts on the night before the students of Hogwarts were to go home for the summer. Children all over the castle were abuzz with excitement. In fact, only six were actually sleeping. There have been odd cases of a certain phenomena of two people having the same exact dream at the same time, and so when they awoke to go home the next morning none would say anything of it. And even when they talked of it they would think it a shared dream until they saw the scars. And only then would they go to the one person who could know.
But we have not ventured that far into this tale. The dream or reality that they ventured to that night is where we join them. Draco Malfoy awoke prepared to leave Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the last time. He groaned as teenagers are wont to do, and groped about for his wand. Well that was certainly odd. He couldn’t find it. And his mattress felt slightly lumpier than it should be. He opened one eye and nearly screamed. But Malfoys do not scream so he yelled instead. He scrambled to stand and realized with some uncertainty that he was not in his dorm room. No he most definitely wasn’t. He was in a small dimly lit room with only his “bed” and- Is that a falcon? And if things couldn’t get anymore bizarre he heard someone giggling behind him.
Draco turned slowly coming face to air. He did not see anyone. But someone was still giggling. He felt a stab in his stomach and he looked down into the smiling bronze of a little girl.
“You are awake.” She said cheerfully. “Cecilia said you must be but Ahmed said that you couldn’t so I came to check because they are playing senet and that is a boring game.” The little girl did not seem to notice she was rambling and Draco was hardly paying attention. Senet, that sounded familiar. Something from ancient runes or maybe history of magic. The blonde cursed silently wishing he had paid more attention in school. Just like he should probably be paying attention to this girl. “What are you called?” she asked snapping him out of his revelry.
“Erm… Draco.” He paused. She must be a least eight.
“I am called Nabila. You are from the north?”
“Yeah, sure, alright.” This was the oddest thing that has ever happened to him. This girl, Nabila, looks a lot like those twins. He thought. Maybe some stupid Gryffindors are trying to play a joke on me. I might as well as go with it. “Where exactly am I?”
“We are in the city of Dendera just outside of Qena.” At his confused face she elaborated. “Dendera is the temple dedicated to the goddess Hathor of love joy and music. It Is said by the prophet Chanda that She will return again.”
Draco tried to take this in. Hathor, that meant Egypt. Dendera, there hasn’t been a city here in ages… Realization dawned to late. Before he could question the girl any further she had dragged him from his little room into what he could only assume was the kitchen. There was a low table with several chairs. An elderly couple was sitting playing what he could only assume was the game senet. The man was dark, just like Nabila, the woman however was pale and had thin blonde hair. Niether looked up when Draco entered.
“What did I tell you about waking our guest up?” The man scolded.

I have one question. Does Draco and Ginny have to be in love at the start of the fic, or can their relationship develop gradually throughout?
