Okay. . .if they turn out being brother and sister. . . that's totally gross. I don't think I could continue shipping them even in fanon if that's how it ends. I honestly doubt that that will be the ending, but I just honestly wouldn't be able to read any more romantic fan fics or think of them as a couple if by some chance they were related. I mean, I can ignore canon in fan fiction, but only up to a certain point. I don't think I could read a post-DH fic of them if the author decided to ignore that point. I mean, that's gigantic. Even bigger than Dumbledore dying, IMO.

I can just imagine the gloating comments Herons and Chocos would go around saying.

Thankfully, there's a million reasons why that theory isn't even thinkable.

The most that happen is they find out they're very distant cousins. James is pureblood, Lily is muggle born. Hermione is the first witch in her family; and I doubt any Granger is/was related to a Dursley or Potter.

*But maybe the Potters and Weasleys are related. Both are purebloods so it's couldn't happen. Plus that'll get rid of H/G

I voted for the if Harry/Hermione become siblings or something. Because then all canon would knock out canon true fanfiction

But I really doubt JK is doing this. I never believed that Heron propaganda to begin with.

Anyway, other than that I will always believe that Harry and Hermione are the best type of relationship for romance. It will forever be my preferred ship

I voted that I would never abandon H/Hr.

And I feel that way for the simple fact that if they somehow turned out to be related (gross) I would have considered the series to have ended at OoTP. Therefore I would IGNORE HBP and DH. That's extremely, extremely unlikely anyway so...

I like the way you think, ha! There's a much greater chance of the Potter's and Weasley's being related than Harry somehow being related to Hermione.

Related? Ah the old Jedi torpedo (makes certain there's no question that it's Han/Leia in the movies by way of amking Luke and Leia related). Somehow I doubt JK would stopp to that level.

I still have a good idea it will be H/Hr before the end (though I might just be deluding myself, admittedly) and even if it isn't....that's what this site is for!

I used to write fanfiction in the Ranma 1/2 domain (thankfully none of it still exists, man those stories were bad). Though the canon pairing is Ranma/Akane (the writer, Rumiko Takahashi, has said as much) one is just as likely to find stories pairing Ranma with his other fiances, or his female half with any of the male characters, or any other number of ships despite that fact. I imagine the same will happen with Harry Potter. No matter how things turn out in DH, the other ships will still sail brightly into the sunset (well, almost every ship, I have an unhealthy dislike for anything slash).

That said, the HMS Pumpkin Pie will have me as a stowaway for quite some time. Though I may dabble in the darkside occasionally, I'll always come back to the light.

Before DH if JK comes out and says it won't be H/HR

I had the WORST dream last night!!! It was exactly that...I was watching a morning television program and the reporter said "Well, it's official, JKRowling has just come out and said that Harry and Hermione will never be together. That settles that." I freaked out! My stomach just dropped and I went straight into 'denial' mood. I promptly jumped on the computer to see everyone else's reaction and to get some support for my absolute heartbreak. Of course, I couldn't get to anyone I knew (stupid dream) and I was left alone and thinking "No, it can't be R/Hr, it can't." Then my mind flew through all of the wonderful Harmonians who have kept me sane. Caina, Kate J, brown, bama, etc.

So, anyhoo... Good news is that my dream showed me, for a fact, that I am 100% sure it will be H/Hr in the end. Even though I sometimes get nervous or anxious, my true self KNOWS it will end up with Harmony.

The bad news is... DH is still 4 months away and my attempts to curb my H/Hr spiralling out of control is not going as well as planned. I can not think too hard about it when I'm awake (for fear of crying and having a panic attack - yes, been there already), but I really can't control my dreams.

It's gonna be a bumpy 4 months. It's "go time", though and I'm going straight out to sea, sailing on calm waters with my fellow Harmonians. All I need is a nice chair, some suntan oil and a Pina Colada...Anchors away!

Man, don't we deserve it?
