To everyone: To revive an unlocked topic, simply reply to it. Mods would then usually move it to the active area.
There's no time limit on challenges for as long as writers give credit to the person who posed the challenge. :D Anyone can take up a challenge no matter how old. Best for writers to put the challenge thread's URL in their author's notes.

To ficlet posters: better use these templates for your stories. They'd help forum regulars and lurkers follow what you've written. Remember that there are thousands other ficlets and topics vying for readers' attention.

To trolls: Don't even think about posting snarky comments or we'd ban you from the site!
